Chapter 1416 - 1456: Jun Moyan Sleepless All Night

Chapter 1416 - 1456: Jun Moyan Sleepless All Night

The little guy opened the door and went out.

Jun Moyan immediately got up, put on his shoes, and prepared to follow, but when he turned around, he saw the little guy appear at the doorway again.

He was startled, then watched as the little guy seemed to walk in without seeing him.

He held his breath, focusing on the little guy, unsure of what he was going to do. Wasn’t he supposed to go directly to the swing like yesterday?

The little guy went to his desk, bent down to pick up a small stool from under it, and headed towards the door again.

Jun Moyan followed him out.

Watching the little guy carry the stool step by step down the stairs, Jun Moyan’s heart raced, terrified he might fall.

Qing Yi and Mu Han had been waiting downstairs, each occupying one side of the couch, dozing off. Hearing the noise, they immediately got up.

They left one light on in the hall, so it wasn’t dark.

Seeing that the little guy was sleepwalking again, Mu Han gestured for everyone to stay quiet.

The three of them held their breath, watching as the little guy came down the stairs.

Fortunately, the little guy made it down safely and then carried the stool out of the villa.

The three followed behind him.

Just like yesterday, the little guy took the stool to the swing area.

The difference tonight was that the little guy knew to bring a small stool to step on to get on the swing.

Watching the little guy sitting quietly on the swing, Jun Moyan’s expression was heavy with concern.

"Did you give the young master the medication?" Mu Han asked softly.

"He took it," Jun Moyan replied, keeping his eyes fixed on the little guy.

"Don’t be anxious. It’s not a miracle drug; you can’t expect immediate results. Both medication and psychological treatment take time."

"So, should we just let him do this every night?" Jun Moyan asked urgently.

"Maybe you could consider finding a psychologist for him, but you need to think it through. The young master’s still very young, and if he can’t cooperate, even a psychologist might not help. It could also easily leave other psychological scars on him. If he finds out he’s different from other kids, it might worsen the sleepwalking. So, I don’t recommend rushing to find a psychologist."

Jun Moyan didn’t speak.

"It’s only the second night; let’s observe a bit longer. There needs to be a treatment process," Mu Han suggested they be patient and wait.

That night, Jun Moyan didn’t sleep at all.

The next day, when the little guy opened his eyes, he saw Jun Moyan watching him. He blinked for a few seconds, then called out, "Dad."

Jun Moyan helped him get out of bed.

While changing his clothes, the little guy asked, "Do I not have to go to kindergarten today too?"

"After breakfast, how about Dad takes you to see Shangguan Dad?"

"Okay," the little guy agreed happily.

"We’re going to where Shangguan Dad works; you haven’t been there, have you?"

"Where Shangguan Dad works? Is it the same as where you work, in a building with big rooms?"

"No, it’s different. Shangguan Dad is a soldier, a hero who protects the people and the country. It’s not as comfortable as where I work; it’s tough work, as was your Shangguan Grandpa’s."

"I know, Shangguan Dad’s clothes are like the ones on TV, and he has a gun to fight bad guys, really awesome." The little guy knew a bit but couldn’t explain it clearly.

"Right. You’ll see for yourself soon." Jun Moyan put the little guy’s shoes on, picked him up, and prepared to go downstairs.

The little guy wrapped his arms around Jun Moyan’s neck, suddenly thinking of something. He asked excitedly, "Is he like a police officer?"

"You could say that; the job nature is similar."

"Really? Shangguan Dad is amazing."

The little guy’s eyes sparkled with stars, full of admiration and pride.
