Chapter 1407 - 1446: The Little One Sleepwalks (1)
Seeing that the little guy had no reaction, Jun Moyan looked at him with confusion, taking a few steps closer to him.
"An’an?" he called out to him again simultaneously.
Still no reaction, the little guy seemed to be asleep, but Jun Moyan sensed something was off, because the little guy was sitting there with his eyes open, one small hand still grasping the swing rope.
At this distance, he couldn’t possibly not hear. Even if he was in a daze, having called him several times, he wouldn’t be this entranced and unevinced.
What happened to him?
Jun Moyan felt a vague unease growing in his heart, his brow furrowing as he hurried toward the little guy, but before he could reach him, Qing Yi suddenly appeared and called to him.
"Third young master."
Jun Moyan stopped in his tracks, instinctively looking at Qing Yi.
Qing Yi ran towards him holding a phone, his eyes glancing at the little guy sitting on the swing.
"Third young master, don’t go over yet." Qing Yi ran over and lowered his voice to speak to Jun Moyan.
"Please take a look at this first." He showed Jun Moyan the surveillance footage he had just copied onto his phone.
Jun Moyan had run into Qing Yi on his way to the monitoring room, so Qing Yi had tagged along to find the person.
Qing Yi, being meticulous, had noticed something unusual about the little guy and hadn’t hurried to join Jun Moyan in searching.
The footage Qing Yi brought over was of the little guy walking alone from the villa to this location.
In the video, the little guy appeared to be without any abnormalities, yet he was distinctly off, enough to make someone uneasy.
Too quiet, lacking any semblance of a child’s demeanor, eerily silent like he had lost his soul, disregarding everything.
Without any expression or movement, it was as if there was nothing around him, just walking quietly along.
The unsettling, almost eerie footage frightened Jun Moyan.
He looked at Qing Yi, his eyes holding panic.
"The young master seems to be sleepwalking." Qing Yi said.
"Sleepwalking?" This term was unfamiliar to Jun Moyan, though he knew a bit about it. At once, he looked at the little guy on the swing who seemed to be asleep.
"Please don’t worry, sleepwalking in children is not uncommon, let’s avoid going near him. People who are sleepwalking are almost in a trancelike state, with their consciousness nearly asleep, just the body moving. We shouldn’t disturb or call him, as it could easily frighten him, affecting the brain and psyche."
Just as he was speaking, the little guy who had been sitting motionless on the swing suddenly jumped down.
Watching the little guy nearly fall as he jumped down, Jun Moyan instinctively moved a step forward.
Qing Yi quickly grabbed him, preventing him from going up.
Given the little guy’s height, it’s hard to fathom how much effort he had to exert to climb up and sit firmly.
After jumping down, the little guy turned around quietly and began slowly walking back along the path, seemingly returning to the villa.
"Please watch the young master, make sure he doesn’t go to any dangerous places, I’ll go call Xiaohan." Qing Yi put away his phone, reminding Jun Moyan.
"Remember to keep some distance from the young master, don’t get too close." Having said this, Qing Yi ran off to find Mu Han.
Jun Moyan quickly followed after the departing little guy.
The little guy walked quietly along the way he came, his steps not particularly steady. It could be due to sleepwalking and being too young, making him inherently unsteady.
Keeping a distance of about three meters, Jun Moyan followed behind him, his gaze locked onto him, fearing he might accidentally trip or fall.
