Chapter 1376 - 1415: Jun Moyan: An’an’s Not Crying Anymore, It’s Daddy’s Fault
Sure enough, in no time, the little one’s crying slowly quieted down and then gradually stopped.
Seeing the little one truly struggling with the heat, and realizing he hadn’t noticed his discomfort, Jun Moyan felt a deep sense of guilt.
"An’an, I’m sorry, it’s my fault as a dad."
Watching the little one cry miserably, Jun Moyan felt heartbroken and guilty, kissing the little one’s forehead; it was even more painful than taking a bullet himself.
The little one lay on Jun Moyan’s shoulder, his tiny hands gripping his shoulder, sobbing intermittently, his small body convulsing with every breath, his little mouth occasionally pouting pitifully.
"An’an, don’t cry anymore; it’s daddy’s fault."
Jun Moyan tenderly stroked the little one’s back.
Suddenly he recalled something and had Qing Yi drive to a certain place...
Twenty or so minutes later, the car stopped outside a dessert shop.
Looking at the dessert shop outside the car, Jun Moyan couldn’t help but sink into his memories.
This was Xiaoguai’s favorite dessert shop; she liked every kind of sweet here.
It was the dessert shop where, after upsetting Xiaoguai on the last vaccine visit, Jun Moyan packed all the desserts to console her.
Jun Moyan snapped out of his reverie and got out of the car holding the little one.
The familiar sweet aroma wafted in.
Jun Moyan carried the little one into the shop.
With his mood settled, the little one immediately lifted his head off Jun Moyan’s shoulder and curiously looked around.
"May I help you with anything?" A handsome male clerk kindly approached to greet them.
He immediately recognized Jun Moyan as the gentleman who, two years ago, bought all the desserts in the shop while accompanied by a cat.
Later on, Jun Moyan became a frequent visitor, each time buying quite a bit, and once he even brought a girl who looked like a little fairy.
The clerk had a particularly vivid impression of that little fairy whom he’d only seen once but couldn’t forget.
After more than a year, the male clerk still recognized him at a glance; after all, Jun Moyan’s appearance and aura were uniquely unforgettable.
"Oh, it’s you, sir; it’s been a long time since you last came." The male clerk couldn’t help but smile as he greeted Jun Moyan.
Jun Moyan glanced at the warmly smiling clerk, nodding slightly in response.
"Is this your child?" The male clerk looked at the adorable kid in Jun Moyan’s arms.
Jun Moyan looked at the little one and, unusually, responded to the clerk, "Yes."
"Congratulations, what an adorable child, looks just like your wife." The clerk couldn’t help but praise the endearing little one.
Jun Moyan watched the little one ’eat’ his tiny hand and then smiled.
"Would you like to buy anything?" The male clerk asked.
Jun Moyan’s gaze swept over the exquisite sweets in the shop, finally settling on a few lollipops near the cash register.
Jun Moyan carried the little one over, picked up one, and held it in front of the little one.
"An’an."
He twirled the candy stick, and the lollipop spun around twice, successfully catching the little one’s attention.
The little one reached out a soft, pale hand to grab the lollipop in front of him.
"Let’s take this one." After saying this, Jun Moyan turned and walked out with the little one in his arms.
"Alright."
Even as he only took a two-yuan candy, the male clerk did not change his courteous service attitude.
He clearly understood that Jun Moyan was either rich or noble, and his frequent personal visits to this shop, even specifically for a single candy, signified that the shop held a unique significance for Jun Moyan. If he returns, there’s a possibility he might buy out the store again.
