Chapter 1102: New Lords rising

Chapter 1102: New Lords rising

Beelzebub coughed up a mouthful of blood after receiving the devastating Entropy punch from the White Death.

The Devil Paragon had prepared extensively for this battle. He had reinforced his internal organs and carefully attuned his energy to better resist the erasing power of Entropy. Yet even with all those preparations, the White Death had grown far stronger than before.

The human’s senses were sharper, his mind more resilient, and his control over Entropy purer and more refined.

The final trace of hope that the battle could be turned around shattered when Beelzebub heard Baal’s scream of agony.

A moment later, an overwhelming gravitational force swept across the entire layer. Baal was retreating.

Beelzebub did not hesitate for even a fraction of a second.

Pushing his Gift to its limit, the Devil Paragon unleashed a burst of temporal force that forced the White Death backward. Then he turned and fled.

It proved to be a wise decision.

In the very next instant, the True Depravita of Wrath appeared at the bottom of the ocean.

Vlad’s body was badly wounded, but thanks to his Depravita Constitution, the injuries were already beginning to heal. Had Beelzebub delayed even slightly, the combined power of Vlad and the White Death would have turned the Fourth Layer into his grave.

For a moment, Vlad and the White Death simply looked at each other before releasing slow breaths.

They had fought with everything they had.

They had managed to overwhelm their enemies and inflict crippling injuries—wounds that would take a long time to heal. Yet despite their advantage, they had failed to deliver the killing blow.

The two of them were powerful, and they had begun the battle with a major advantage thanks to their ambush and the unexpected emergence of Vlad’s Paragon power. Even so, Baal and Beelzebub had survived.

That alone demonstrated how difficult it was to kill a Paragon—especially those who had ruled for eons and possessed countless life-saving methods like the two Devils.

The two nodded to each other.

Then they teleported.

They reappeared before a massive stronghold located at the heart of the Fourth Layer. The fortress was protected by multiple layers of condensed force fields, and countless runic formations covered its structure, each one ready to unleash devastating power.

For most Sovereigns, this would have been a formidable obstacle.

For these two, it was not.

Vlad’s Celestial Eyes began to glow.

Space folded, and a portal opened before him, connecting directly to the core of the fortress—where a massive Devil Lord resided.

Shock filled the Devil Lord’s eyes as the portal appeared in front of him, completely bypassing the defenses he had spent a lot of time and a lot of blood building.

He did not even have time to react.

The White Death stepped forward and released a stream of white flames that pierced directly into the Devil Lord’s head.

The attack did not kill him.

Instead, it shattered his mind.

His consciousness collapsed, leaving him alive but incapable of resistance. This method ensured that the Devil Lord’s bloodline and accumulated power remained intact.

The Devil Lord had been the core of the fortress’s defensive network. Once he was neutralized, the surrounding formations and force fields collapsed.

With the defenses gone, it was easy for Vlad and the White Death to reach the Infernal Monolith.

They placed their soul marks upon it.

Then they began to harvest its Origin Power.

They absorbed the energy like ravenous beasts, showing little concern for the condition of the surrounding territory. At this moment, their priority was recovery.

While the two Paragons healed from the brutal battle they had just endured, the rest of the Sovereigns continued the systematic destruction of strongholds across the Fourth Layer of Hell. Devil Lords were captured, Infernal Monoliths were secured, and resistance was steadily dismantled.

At the same time, news of the battle spread.

The report that Vlad and the White Death had confronted Baal and Beelzebub—and survived—shocked the universe. The revelation that the Six Sun Alliance possessed not one but two Paragons was already astonishing.

The situation became even more shocking when people realized that they had not merely survived the clash—they had defeated Devil Paragons in direct combat.

This made it clear that their power was not accidental.

They had truly mastered the Paragon level.

The status and influence of the Six Sun Alliance rose exponentially as the news spread. They were no longer seen as a rising power, but as one of the great forces of the universe—an entity that neither the forces of Light nor Darkness would dare provoke lightly.

And with that realization came another understanding.

The Six Sun Alliance was not aiming to conquer only the weaker layers.

Based on their actions and the scale of their power, it became clear that their objective was nothing less than the complete domination of Hell.

How far they would ultimately succeed, however, remained to be seen.

Days passed.

Once the Sovereigns had neutralized the greatest threats, the main army was allowed to enter the Fourth Layer and begin the large-scale war against the remaining Devils.

For the Legends, this battlefield was especially challenging.

They had not yet reached a level where they could ignore environmental conditions, and fighting underwater under immense pressure made every movement more difficult.

But that was precisely why they had come.

In the future, they would face the Alien Power—an enemy capable of distorting reality itself and corrupting entire worlds. If the oceans of the Fourth Layer were enough to break them, then they had no place on the battlefields to come.

Fortunately, the Legends of the Six Sun Alliance did not disappoint.

Their formations adapted to the environment, their coordination improved, and their strength continued to grow as they fought.

The extreme pressure of the battlefield, combined with the near-endless flow of Origin Power from each conquered stronghold, accelerated their development at an extraordinary rate.

They were growing stronger with every battle.

And as the campaign continued, the Sovereigns began to smile.

At last, new Lords were beginning to rise.
