Betrayed by the Succubus, I Raise a Twelve-winged Angel

Chapter 386 - 387: Mobilization of All Races!

Chapter 386 - 387: Mobilization of All Races!

Aster Grant and his group wasted no time in returning to the Human Territory at the fastest speed.

Setting foot on this familiar land, the tense atmosphere pervading the air felt even heavier than when they had left.

Upon arrival, Aster Grant immediately headed to the Oceanic Clan to find Alia.

But before departing, he instructed:

"Senior Drake, Summer Gardner, Wraith Chieftain, the duty of uniting other races and integrating our powers is in your hands."

Zane Drake and the others had no objection.

The Demon Clan’s invasion of the Alternate Space is not just a matter of one race, but a shared responsibility of all races in the entire Alternate Space.

As soon as the Demon Clan arrives, no race will be spared.

In front of the Demon Clan, all races are merely their food.

After giving his instructions, Aster Grant flashed and headed straight to the temporary base of the Oceanic Clan within the Human Territory.

At present, finding the whereabouts of Dragon Island is of utmost importance, and the Oceanic Clan is currently the most likely to hold that clue.

Zane Drake watched Aster Grant leave, then turned around, his face already adorned with a swift and decisive air of killing intent.

He immediately gathered Abel Vance, Stryker, and other key leaders.

"There’s been a change, the arrival of the Demon God is inevitable, and time is running short!"

Zane Drake’s voice was somewhat low.

"Transmit my orders: employ all means to search for all known races within the Alternate Space!"

"Convey the message that the Demon Abyss is about to open, and the Alternate Space is in peril, commanding them to migrate to the Human Territory within the stipulated time to jointly construct a defense line and face survival together!"

This order bore a scent of iron and blood, causing the leaders present to feel a chill in their hearts.

They had never seen Zane Drake show such a hardline, even ruthless side.

Stryker, with the most straightforward personality, couldn’t help but ask:

"Senior Drake, what if...if there’s a race unwilling to come, or pretends to comply but doesn’t?"

A cold light flashed in Zane Drake’s eyes, his tone firm and unwavering, without any room for compromise:

"Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures!"

"If there are any who disobey, or who seem inclined to defect to the Demon Clan... kill without mercy to eliminate future troubles!"

He looked around at everyone, his voice filled with a painful yet unyielding determination:

"I know this is cruel. But the Demon Clan’s invasion concerns not just one race or one domain but the survival of the entire Alternate Space! If we are lenient now, leaving hidden dangers, the stab in the back on the battlefield will cost us even more dearly!"

"I’d rather our Alliance be smaller and purer, but we cannot tolerate any uncertain factors within! This is Aster Grant’s intent and my decision!"

Abel Vance, Stryker, and others exchanged solemn glances, seeing shock but then resolution in each other’s eyes.

They understood the gravity of the situation and appreciated the deeper meaning behind this seemingly heartless command.

"Yes! Senior Drake! We will ensure to complete the mission!"

Everyone responded in unison and quickly dispersed to begin executing the task.

Zane Drake walked briskly towards the meeting room with Summer Gardner and Shade.

More detailed strategic deployments and resource allocations needed to be immediately discussed by them.

The strategically adept Elara Crimson was also specially kept by Aster Grant to participate.

...

Meanwhile, Aster Grant had arrived at the Oceanic Clan’s designated area within the Human Territory.

Though lacking a vast ocean, Zane Drake had organized large lakes and streams to create a suitable living environment for the Oceanic Clan as much as possible.

Outside a delicately constructed waterside wooden cabin filled with oceanic flair, Aster Grant stopped. He did not rush in but quietly released a trace of aura.

Inside the cabin, the Little Princess of the Merfolk, Alia, sat by the window, resting her cheek in her hands, gazing at the changing clouds in the sky with a hint of melancholy unbefitting her age on her young face.

Her slender fingers unconsciously fiddled with a little wildflower she had just picked by the lakeside, mumbling to herself.

"If I could see brother Aster again..."

She gently plucked one petal.

"Can’t see him..."

Another petal fluttered down.

"Can see him!"

"Can’t see him!"

Soon, a once complete little flower in her hand became bare, leaving only one solitary petal.

And according to her sequence, this petal corresponded to—

Can’t see him.

Alia’s little mouth instantly puckered, a flash of distress in her eyes.

"This doesn’t count! I wasn’t ready just now!"

She comforted herself, tossing the bare flower stalk out the window.

Then she picked a new flower, beginning a new round of muttering.

"Can see him!"

"Can’t see him!"

...

Aster Grant stood not far away, watching this innocent scene, his mouth involuntarily curving upwards.

Although calculated by Merfolk age, Alia was over a hundred years old, her temperament was pure as a seven or eight-year-old human child.

Perhaps, it was this untainted purity that blessed her with that mysterious "bring good luck" special talent.

As Alia’s second flower was about to wither, the final petal again pointed to "Can’t see him," her little face scrunched up in a frown.

Just then, Aster Grant no longer hid and walked slowly forward, speaking in a gentle tone:

"Alia."

"Ah!"

The sudden sound startled Alia, she turned around abruptly, and when she saw Aster Grant standing at the door, smiling at her, her little face instantly turned crimson like a ripe apple.

She hurriedly hid the withered flower behind her, stammering:

"Brother A-Aster! When...when did you arrive?"

"I’ve been here for a while!"

At this moment, Aster Grant found Alia somewhat amusing.

But he didn’t mind much.

After all, for him now, Alia was no different from a child.

Moreover, Vera had always been a child before.

Therefore, Aster Grant skillfully stepped forward, picked Alia up, and made her face him.

"Alia, do you know about the Dragon Clan’s news?"

Originally, Alia felt a bit shy at first, but upon hearing this, she realized Brother Aster must have come for something important.

Thus she tried hard to recall the memories in her mind.

"I seem to have seen information about the Dragon Clan in the Oceanic Clan’s library archives long ago, but it’s been too long..."

"I forgot! I’m sorry..."

Little Alia’s eyes seemed a bit red, feeling upset for not being able to help.

But Aster Grant’s eyes brightened at these words.

Having information about the Dragon Clan in the Oceanic Clan’s library was already considered good news.

Even though the Oceanic Clan was invaded by the Demon Clan...

The Demon Clan showed no interest in books.

Additionally, all the Demon Clan members had been recalled now.

If they could return to the Oceanic Clan now, perhaps they could find the book Alia mentioned again.

Hence, Aster Grant immediately spoke to Alia:

"Alia, would you like to return to the Oceanic Clan once more?"
