Chapter 304: Capturing Of The Traitors

Chapter 304: Capturing Of The Traitors

"If I will not present at my home, then where should I present," Tanya asked him, she knew if she needed to save her merchant group, then only if she pursued Sharky, then it could help her.

"You again want to stop me from cleaning the traitor," Sharky asked her, his voice filled with little anger.

"No, no, Duke Cedric, I will not stop you from cleaning the traitor. But can you please, not destroy my Daniel Merchant Group. It was started by my family, I don’t want it to vanish."

Tanya said she took Sharky’s hand, and started rubbing in between her breasts.

Sharky started hesitating, then he said to her, "I will forgive the Daniel Merchant Group, if you tell me who the people inside the mask were."

Tanya shook her head and replied, "I don’t even pay attention to my clan’s matters, so I don’t know who they are. Except for knowing the yellow-patterned man. He was my uncle."

"However, I heard some rumors in the clan, saying Sir Magistrate was colluding with the fiend races, that he was smuggling ki stones and restricted goods or something. Whether or not Sir Magistrate did those things is something I don’t know about, but our Daniel Merchant Group hasn’t participated in that matter.."

"Didn’t participate in that?" Sharky had a strange expression. "Then why did these people gather at the Daniel Merchant Group headquarters? Furthermore, even the perpetrators involved were here."

Tanya sighed and replied, "Yes we were involved in this, but not for the transaction of ki stones, but because the treasures of fiend races."

"Ok, I will look into that matter, but for now, help me capture the other people." Sharky told her.

"Ok," Tanya nodded, but she knew that it was an impossible task, because all of the individuals here were the strongest. How could she stop them?

She ordered her guards to follow the robed persons.

Meanwhile, Crystal had been waiting anxiously outside the city walls. It was still alright at first, but as time went on, suddenly, she heard loud shouting coming out from inside. Then, a streak of fire had shot into the sky.

She soon realized Sharky was trying to catch all of them, and she also thought of helping him.

But she had immediately sensed terrifying ki fluctuations. The energies were all at least at the ninth rank, with some even at the master rank.

As a candidate for the Devil Sect’s Saintess, she naturally wasn’t stupid. She quickly deduced that she wouldn’t be able to offer much help even if she went over and would instead just cause more trouble for Sharky.

She suddenly had another idea. She stood at the gate, and will try to stop anyone who will try to come here.

As time went on, a furious roar exclaimed, "Who dares to stand in front of me?!"

A massive golden brick smashed down from the heavens in her direction. She felt as if her body had been completely locked down by the other party’s aura. She didn’t even know where to evade.

She bit her red lips tightly and summoned a soft yellow lantern above her head, forming a faint barrier of light.

The incoming brick seemed to freeze in midair when it made contact with the barrier. It continued to hum with noise, but it wasn’t able to break through its defenses.

The yellow-patterned man’s expression changed. He exclaimed, "The Little Empress Lantern?" The golden brick returned into his sleeves with a wave of his hand.

Even though the other party was masked, he had already recognized Crystal. He didn’t dare to truly kill her. If anything happened to the Saintess and Daina went on a rampage, he wouldn’t be able to handle the consequences.

Suddenly, a teasing voice called out, "Tsk tsk, did your skills become rusty after being a businessman for so long? You can’t even deal with a junior like this?" The blue-patterned man appeared on a nearby rooftop as soon as he spoke

The yellow-patterned man cursed that person inwardly for being a fool. The other party wasn’t someone from the world of warriors; he had never experienced the terror of Daina’s wrath. But he didn’t bother explaining and decided to let the other party have a taste of bitterness first, saying, "Why don’t you give it a try then, if you’re so capable."

"Don’t mind if I do." The blue-patterned man harrumphed. He reached out his hand, and the ground around Crystal began to quake. Then, massive tree roots tore out from underground. Large thorns covered their surface, quickly forming a prison of thistles and thorns.

Crystal was alarmed. She was confined again. Even though she did her best to avoid it, she was still pricked by the roots.

An intense pain tore through her body, and she groaned. Then, she felt numbness and dizziness overtake her. Her expression changed as she exclaimed, "It’s poisonous!"

"Everyone escaped as fast as you can," The recently arrived white-patterned man said.

Red Patterns and Orange Patterns have already escaped.

The white-patterned man looked over the situation. He asked gloomily, "Why did you attack that person?"

"That person seems to be Diana’s disciple, the Devil Sect’s Saintess, she is trying to stop us." The yellow-patterned man only said a single sentence, but that was already enough to explain his misgivings.

The white-patterned man also became quiet for a long time when he heard the. A while later, he said, "Today’s matter is way too important. We have to escape from Cloudcenter territory as soon as fast."

The yellow-patterned man hesitated and said, "My Daniel Merchant Group was here, where can I escape."

Crystal was trapped within the prison of thorns. Furthermore, the prison was quickly getting smaller and smaller, making it so she couldn’t move around at all.

And all of the people were escaping one by one, except for a blue-patterned man.

Crystal was poisoned, feeling extremely dizzy. She felt her heart turn completely cold, and was waiting for her end.

However, the pain she expected never came, and the prison was too erased by a fire. Meanwhile, she herself was taken up in a warm embrace.

"Sharky!" Crystal was shocked and overjoyed. She was extremely familiar with his scent and aura. She could recognize him even without opening her eyes.

Sharky wrapped his arm around her waist and guarded her with his body, saying, "Don’t be scared; I’m here." At the same time, he sighed inwardly. Thank goodness I made it in time.

He then looked towards the blue-robed, "So, only you are left here."

Hearing Sharky voice, the blue robed person started fearing.

He knew, if no one was able to save him, then today would be his end.

"No, no one can catch me," The Blue Robed guy murmured and with his hand movements.

The trees and plants all around him began to rustle. Soon afterward, the leaves began to fall. They rotated rapidly, then launched themselves at the pair of lovebirds.

Some birds were alerted by the battle and took flight, ending up in the leaves’ way. They instantly exploded into a blast of bloody mist. Just then, every single leaf was like a sharp blade. The leaves were everywhere in the sky, creating what resembled a large meat grinder.

Sharky released a cold snort and a loud phoenix cry resounded. A phoenix-shaped flame surged, instantly setting the leaves ablaze. The blue-patterned man couldn’t control them anymore. Sharky took possession of the burning leaves, transforming into a flaming meteor and charging forward.

The blue-patterned man narrowed his eyes. He sensed broiling flames rushing at him. He quickly crossed his hands in front of his chest, and a massive shield appeared in front of him.

Even though the shield was made of wood and was naturally countered by the fire element, his defensive skill was special. At the very least, it could hold on for a bit and buy him some time.

By then, he should be able to escape from here.

Just then, a bloody mist exploded from his chest, and an intense pain came from his back. He knew he had been ambushed by the opponent.

He didn’t even have time to think about how the other party had gotten behind him. He quickly grabbed backward to seize the hand that thrust at his back. Countless vines tangled around the other party’s body. At the same time, his vines’ sharp thorns stabbed in, pouring their poison into that person.

"Is that all?" Sharky tilted his head a bit. He flexed his muscles, and the vines instantly broke apart inch by inch. Meanwhile, there were only some white spots on his skin. Those thorns couldn’t even penetrate his skin!

"Please leave me," the blue robed person started crying, seeing he was captured by the Duke.

He knew, if Duke wants, he will die in a few simple gestures.

"First let me see, who you are, so dared to cause trouble in my territory," Sharky said, as he held his mask and his shoulder.

And then, the mask was snapped and broken into pieces.

"Ahhhh!" The blue-patterned man screamed miserably. He had no idea just how many of his bones had just broken. All of his body’s blood vessels were also a mess. Even if he retained his life, he might have to live the rest of his life as a cripple.

And the face behind the mask appeared, it was Donny Frost.

"So, you are from the Frost Clan, I think, Frost Clan also needs some cleansing."

Sharky said, as he slammed him in the ground.

The yellow robed person was shocked by seeing the scene in front of him.

He isn’t able to think what the Duke will do with him.

"Please have mercy on me," He directly kneeled down in front of him, and took out his mask.

There was nothing to think about him, he was the person of Daniel Merchant Group.

"I will show mercy, if you tell me who the other persons were." Sharky arrived in front of him and asked.

"I don’t know about the others, but the red robed person was Luke Vale. And the white robed person was Christ."

He quickly replied.

"Oh," Sharky nodded, then he asked, "Did you ever sell the ki stone to the Fiend race?"

"No, I have never sold the ki stone to Fiend races," the yellow robed person replied.

"Ok, then I will forgive you, but for giving help to the Traitors, there will be some punishment."

Sharky said, he took out the papers and wrote something on it.

"From every month, you need to pay all of these," He put the names of a few things and money, and gave them to him.

The yellow robed person sighed with relief, he took the list and nodded.

After he captured the blue robe, and knowing that in white robed person was his own brother, he started running towards him.

"Crystal, you should go back." He said, looking that Crystal is okay.

"No, I will not leave you," Crystal replied back, and followed behind him.

"Okay, so don’t try to be brave, always stay behind me," Sharky ordered her.

"Okay," Crystal nodded.

Soon, Sharky was able to notice the white robed person running.

Thinking that white robed person was his own brother, he became more angry.

A flame phoenix appeared and it started following Christ.

Christ seeing himself behind, he used his sword to push back the attack.

Soon, he attacked back with a blizzard.

But Sharky destroyed it, and continued following behind him.

"Stop following me," Christ shouted and attacked with his sword.

Before the sword attack was complete, Sharky caught it halfway.

Seeing this, Christ’s soul was warning him crazily. The scene of a sword piercing through his body appeared in his mind. He quickly backed up, but the longsword was gripped tightly in the other party’s hand. He couldn’t pull it out at all.
