Chapter 207: Osman Khan - Patriarch Of Khan Family

Chapter 207: Osman Khan - Patriarch Of Khan Family

Sharky’s expression was calm as he brought his family inside.

On the way, looking around, Arahan had a look of curiosity on his face.

Compared to the outside, the Khan manor was much more luxurious and had a noble feel to it.

This was something that Arahan rarely saw.

Of course, this was not a big deal to him.

Back in the Bohai region, Sharky had been a master refiner and his wealth and living conditions were not any inferior to what he saw; in fact, they were a bit better.

After all, in the Bohai region, Sharky was a big figure among cultivators, while the Khan family was just an aristocratic family among mortals.

There was a big gap between them.

After walking for a while, they arrived at a room.

Within the room, a middle-aged man was waiting there.

The middle-aged man wore a red robe which had stars on it, and he gave off a noble aura.

He sat on a red chair and had valiant looks. It was just that his black hair had some white streaks in it, making him seem a bit old.

This was the current Khan family Patriarch, Osman Khan.

Looking at Osman Khan, Sharky said softly, "Patriarch, long time no see."

"Indeed, long time no see," Osman Khan nodded as he said in a bit of a surprised tone, "Over the past few yours, you’ve changed greatly."

In the past, when facing the Khan family Patriarch, Sharky acted very respectfully and seriously.

However, now, he has become much more casual.

But, Osman Khan was not too surprised.

After all, after these years, Sharky seemed like a different person.

At that moment, he could not help but feel quite curious; just what had happened to Sharky over the past few years?

Sharky smiled and said, "If I didn’t change at all, it would have been a waste of my time over the past few years."

"Where have you been these years?" Osman Khan’s expression gradually became more serious, "Why did you never send any information about yourself?"

Sharky had been one of the Khan family’s’ most outstanding geniuses. Putting aside status and identity, he was essentially the best of the younger generation and was seen as the future of the Khan family.

The Khan family greatly valued Sharky and after he had disappeared, they had sent out a large number of people to search for him, but no one had been able to find anything.

It was as if he had completely evaporated from the world and did not leave even a trace behind.

Now, he has once again appeared.

"It’s a long story..." Sharky smiled before thinking and speaking.

He started talking from when he was escorting Zeenat and told him about most details.

Of course, he skipped over the things about Ertagul Ghazi and just said that he had happened to obtain a legacy from a secret realm before being transported to the Bohai region.

"Married To Princess, Cultivator, secret realm, Bohai region, Child?"

Hearing Sharky’s story, Osman Khan was completely dumbfounded.

It had to be said that Sharky’s experiences over the past few years were indeed quite incredible.

As the Patriarch of the Khan family, Osman Khan knew some things about cultivators.

He just had never thought that someone from his family would become a cultivator and obtain decently strong cultivation.

This made him feel quite shocked as well as excited.

The Khan family gaining a cultivator had significant meaning. It could be said that this guaranteed the Khan family’s future.

Moreover, the most important thing is that Sharky is married to the Princess of the Mirza Kingdom. And he also has a child with her.

And his whole family is Cultivator. He is also not just an ordinary cultivator; he was a decently strong cultivator who was also a refining master.

With Sharky leading them, it was possible that the Khan family could rise up from a mortal aristocratic family into a cultivator family.

All sorts of thoughts flashed in Osman Khan’s mind, making him feel quite excited.

At the same time, many of his questions were answered.

"So it was like that..." looking at Sharky, he sighed before saying, "I completely understand.

"I’m sure you don’t know what has happened in Great Mirza over the past few years," he said as he looked at Sharky.

"Hm?" Looking at Osman Khan, Sharky starred in surprise.

"What has happened?" he asked, since this is related to him becoming King. He needs to know about this.

Based on Sharky’s memories, Great Mirza should still be in a stable period and nothing should have happened.

"Half a year ago, the Prince of Shurah Kingdom appeared ..." looking at Sharky, Osman Khan lightly sighed and spoke.

Following this, Osman Khan began to speak of what had happened recently.

Since the Shurah Kingdom has not gotten married to Zeenat. He was so angry, and that he wanted to create a war between the Kingdom.

He even confronted the King and Queen of Mirza.

They faced off against each other, following which he suppressed the palace guards and killed the Queen of Mirza.

Not only this, many people were caught up, and he ended up destroying many families during the night.

The scene was incredibly tragic and was still deeply engraved in Osman Khan’s mind, making him feel quite fearful.

So such a thing happened...

Hearing Osman Khan’s words, Zeenat started crying.

Sharky quickly took her in his embrace, and tried to calm her.

He understood how Zeenat felt.

Afterall, Zeenat’s mom has died in this attack.

"Aafrin, bring Zeenat to my manor," Sharky commanded her.

Since he has arrived back, Osman has already ordered some guards to prepare his manor. Aafrin knew where his manor was, so she quickly took the Zeenat and went inside the manor.

"Patriarch, I need the details of the Shurah Kingdom, and also inform the Mirza Kingdom that their Princess is back."

"Okay," Osman nodded, since Sharky has married the Princess of Mirza, he also needs to visit the palace.

"Father..." hearing Sharky and Osman Khan’s discussion, Arahan, who had been silent this whole time, finally spoke, "Is Great Mirza... really so weak?"

He felt quite curious and could not help but ask.

In the Bohai region, the strong reigned supreme, and all Kingdoms had strong experts defending them.

As such, from how Arahan saw it, for something like this to happen in Great Mirza, it was completely incomprehensible.

After all, from what Osman Khan had said, this Shurah Prince had only been cultivated for four or five years.

A Kingdom’s palace had been broken into by a cultivator who had only cultivated for four or five years? It was simply too weak.

"Oh?" Osman Khan turned and noticed Arahan, "Is this your son?"

"That’s right, he was the fruit of me and Zeenat’s love."

Sharky smiled and patted Arahan’s head before saying, "Don’t make a ruckus. Some people can’t be viewed by ordinary terms. For people like him, cultivating for four or five years is enough for him to reach a stage that some people could never reach in their entire lives."

He paused before continuing, "However, you’re right. Great Mirza’s strength is indeed a bit weak."

"Weak?" Osman Khan’s expression slightly changed as he quickly realized some things.

Sharky had once been a guard in the palace, and he knew Great Mirza’s strength clearly.

Since he felt that Great Mirza was weak, then...

Thinking there, Osman Khan’s eyes lit up as he asked, "Sharky, how... is your cultivation? How does it compare to the Shurah Prince?"

His expression was serious as he asked this question.

"The Shurah Prince?" Sharky smiled, and after thinking about it, he said, "I’m not sure what the Shurah Prince’s cultivation is like right now, but I can also do what he did half a year ago. Moreover, I can do it even better."

The meaning behind these words was that he was most likely stronger than Shurah Prince.

Osman Khan’s eyes shined as a look of delight appeared on his face, "Good, good, good!"

He seemed to think of something, and his face became filled with excitement.

On that day, Sharky and Osman Khan discussed much.

The next day, Osman Khan went out and invited a few other large aristocratic families for a banquet.

Meanwhile Sharky returned back to his manor, to take care of Zeenat.

Zeenat has now calmed down, after seeing Sharky appear there, she quickly leaped in his arms.

"What happened, dear?" Sharky asked while caressing her back.

"Husband, promised me that you will kill that Shurah Prince," Zeenat said to him, although she was angry, but she said in a calm tone.

"Of course, my love, I will kill whoever you want." Sharky said, as he picked her up and lay down on the bed.

After some comfortable words and caressing, she has fallen asleep.

"Aafrin, take care of her," Sharky said, looking towards Aafrin.

"Master..." Aafrin said to him.

"What?" He asked, looking at her.

"I want to return back to my home," She said. Although, this was a painful decision for her, to not see her master.

But seeing him, and not getting his love was more painful than her decision.

"Ok," Sharky nodded, and accepted her decision.

Sharky then lay down beside Zeenat, while Arahan was sitting quietly there.

"Daddy..." Then he hesitated but said, "Do we really need to go to such trouble? With your strength, wouldn’t taking over this place be incredibly easy?"

From how he saw it, Great Mirza was incredibly weak, and with Sharky’s strength, he could just capture the King of Mirza and take his place. What need was there to make things so complicated?

"How else should I do it?" Sharky knew what his disciple was thinking, so he chuckled and asked, "I’ll capture the King of Mirza and take his position, and then what?"

"And then?" Arahan paused in surprise.

After doing all that, Sharky would have obtained a Kingdom. What was there after that?

"Governing a Kingdom requires subordinates," Sharky said, "Otherwise, with all the things to take care of, you won’t be able to cultivate anymore."

No matter how strong one’s cultivation was, that was just battle strength; one would still need others to help govern a Kingdom.

This was the purpose of Sharky returning to the Khan family.

The Khan family was where Sharky’s original identity had come from, so they were the ones closest to him and would be the best choices as subordinates.

The aristocratic families that had good relations with Sharky could also obtain some power and support them.

Hearing Sharky’s words, Arahan nodded but still looked a bit confused.

It seemed that a child of his age still found politics quite difficult to grasp.

However, Sharky did not need him to understand; for some things, one would naturally understand after reaching a certain point or post in life.

As the night passed, Zeenat woke up, she then became ready, and then looked towards her husband and child.

"Hubby, Let’s go."

Sharky nodded, and he led Zeenat and Arahan to continue walking and came before the palace.
