Chapter 160: Hunting The Serpent Of Silver Moon

The Blackfeather Hawk raised its neck and released a silent roar. Then, it pulled in its wings and dove down. Its body transformed into a stream of light and smashed into the formation. Blasts of blood erupted from the chests of those who weren’t trapped in the bubbles. Huge holes appeared in their chests.

The Blackfeather Hawk’s charge was terrifyingly powerful, almost like the flying sword of a ninth ranked expert. Meanwhile, these people were only at the sixth rank at most. How could they possibly withstand this type of power?

Sharky made his move. He used his Zoom ability to instantly arrive in front of a stunned warrior, pushing him away. Then, he raised the Sword and blocked in front of him.

Clang!

A shrill and ear-splitting sound erupted. The Blackfeather Hawk’s beak that had torn through the chests of countless people slammed into the Sword. The tremendous impact made even the Sword bend a bit.

"It’s so freaking noisy!" Sharky shouted, then a terrifying pressure rushed out. The Blackfeather Hawk trembled and stopped attacking.

Then Sharky’s sword flickered, directly cleaving it in half. But the Blackfeather Hawk was not going so easily down.

Sharky lowered his head and saw the two lumps continue to wriggle about, as if they wanted to recombine with each other.

These were existences that used the souls of beasts the Serpent Of Silver Moon had devoured as their foundation, and then had bodies created through the water element. Water was a formless substance and possessed a powerful regenerative ability to begin with.

When Sharky saw that, he immediately used the Immortal Phoenix Technique. The two wriggling blobs of water were frozen into chunks of ice. Then he channeled his ki, smashing them to pieces with a kick. The Blackfeather Hawk was now completely destroyed.

At the same time, the bubbles that had trapped all of the warriors froze and shattered from the cold ki. Those inside were free again.

"This king only refined the Blackfeather Hawk after great difficulty, yet you actually destroyed it. So I’ll devour you and turn you into my new puppet!" The Serpent Of Silver Moon in the sky roared furiously.

Those who had been freed thanked Sharky and cheered.

"Sir Sharky has made his move!"

"We’re saved!"

"Sir Sharky is awesome!

Catherine gave Sharky’s figure a deep look. She didn’t know when it began, but this man had grown even stronger than before.

Suddenly, the Serpent Of Silver Moon above roared furiously.

The Serpent Of Silver Moon’s furious voice came from the skies again. "Arrogant human, you dare ignore this king? You’ll pay dearly for doing that!"

Sharky rolled his eyes. "You only know how to blabber about nonsense, so why would I listen to you? Also, you’re just a stupid lizard, so why do you keep calling yourself a king? Who gave you the title of king? Aren’t you embarrassed to call yourself one all the time?"

"This king will kill you!" The Serpent Of Silver Moon had only learned human speech after breaking through into the ninth rank recently. How could it be Sharky’s match in debate? It was so angry it began to roar repeatedly.

Its massive body swung about. The water vapor in the air immediately gathered into arrows of water before flying toward Sharky.

Everyone was horrified when they saw the attack. If the Serpent Of Silver Moon targeted them with such an attack, at least half of them would perish! As for the remaining half, even if they survived, they wouldn’t have much fighting power left. The strength of a ninth ranked beast was just too terrifying.

The others became more and more grateful that Sharky was here. If not for him, everyone here would have been doomed, destined for eradication.

He used the Immortal Phoenix Technique. Everything within a range of several zhang became a world of ice and snow. An energy barrier that resembled a ball of ice surrounded him, protecting him from the attacks of the water arrows.

"What are you doing?" Serpent Of Silver Moon asked, he felt some fear from Sharky’s hand rubbing.

"I am going to teach you, never mess with me," Sharky shouted, as he jumped near the Serpent Of Silver Moon and the massive electricity was generated from his hands. Slowly - slowly all of it covered the Serpent Of Silver Moon.

"Aah," Serpent Of Silver Moon screamed in pain, and his massive body fell on the water. Everyone was amazed to see this.

They began to cheer one after another.

"Sir Sharky is mighty!"

"With Sir Sharky on our side, everything becomes easy!"

Sharky with his slow steps walked towards the Serpent Of Silver Moon, with each step, Serpent Of Silver Moon screamed in fear. But since he was paralyzed, he can’t do anything. He can only scream and curse bitterly in fear.

But Sharky didn’t stop, he reached behind the Serpent Of Silver Moon, and walked on his body.

The Serpent Of Silver Moon also sensed danger. It slam its body around to throw Sharky off. Unfortunately, Sharky grabbed onto its scales firmly, so it couldn’t throw him off at all.

The Serpent was starting to get nervous. It threw itself toward the pool, hoping to use the huge impact to throw Sharky off. Unfortunately, it was also unsuccessful.

"I have already said, don’t mess with me, so why are you messing with me," Sharky said, then using Wildvine powers, his hands grew so long, they caught the head of the Serpent Of Silver Moon.

And then everyone hears a kadak sound, and the Serpent Of Silver Moon has taken his last breath from the world.

The waters split open a second later, and a massive body flew out. The group cheered, when they saw that it was the Serpent Of Silver Moon.

Its eyes were already completely dark. Its massive body was also limp. There was a massive wound by its neck, and blood continued to pour out from the opening.

Meanwhile, Sharky was below that serpent. He had carried the Serpent Of Silver Moon’s corpse and flown out!

"It’s Sir Sharky! Sir Sharky killed the Serpent Of Silver Moon!" Zhao Xi shouted joyfully.

"Sir Sharky is unrivaled!"

"Long live Sir Sharky!"

Catherine was happy that the Crown Prince mission was successful, "Thank you, Sharky."

"It’s okay," Sharky nodded.

She gave him a grateful look, and then used the chance to say, "It’s still thanks to Sir Sharky having the strength to face the Serpent Of Silver Moon that I had a chance to offer some help. In that kind of situation, I could only take a gamble. Thankfully, Sir Sharky was able to successfully take down that evil serpent."

The group shouted out in praise, "Sir Sharky is formidable, but crown princess, you’re even more incredible!"

"You truly are a woman who’s even more courageous than men!"

Suddenly, a voice cried out from the distance. "Catherine, save me, Catherine!"

Everyone turned around and saw a fatty running while gasping for air. A group of giant wolves were chasing after him. The Eastern Palace guards were all drenched in blood as they tried to fend off the wolves.

"It’s the crown prince!"

"Hurry and save him!"

The group frantically rushed over with their weapons. When the wolves saw that there were so many people there, they stopped at once. After circling them a few times, they reluctantly withdrew into the forest.

Catherine had her subordinates treat their wounds while asking out of curiosity, "What happened? Why were you all being chased by the Giant White Wolves?"

The crown prince said, "Of course I ran when I heard that the weird snake likes to eat fat people! But for some reason, I kept running into all sorts of beasts. Catherine, I’m never going to leave you again! All of them tricked me; it’s only safe at your side."

The others had strange looks on their faces. This crown prince really was worthless.

Gao Ying couldn’t continue listening to this and explained after a cough, "At the time, all of you were trapped by the Serpent Of Silver Moon and we had no way to help you. That was why we wanted to hurry back and ask for reinforcements."

There were many elites from powerful clans there. They obviously knew what the others had really been thinking. Saying that they were going to ask for reinforcements was just to make it sound a bit better. But they also understood why the others had done what they did. If they had been in that position, they would most likely have chosen to bring the crown prince out first as well.

Catherine replied, "Everyone has suffered heavy casualties from the battle against the Serpent Of Silver Moon. A third of our group has died in battle, while another third are seriously wounded. The remainder all have some wounds as well."

Meng Pan said in an aloof manner, "Crown princess, don’t worry. We joined this mission for the sake of our clans’ glory. Each and every one of us has already resolved to die in battle. Furthermore, regardless of what happened, we managed to complete this mission in the end, and the enemy was even at the ninth rank. King George’s side has no excuses this time."
