When the girls arrived at the seaside, the sun had completely set, and the night sea breeze carried a refreshing coolness with a salty, humid scent hitting their faces.

Since they had come specifically for barbecue, the group went straight to the point after getting out of the car—setting up the grill, lighting the fire, organizing ingredients, and directly starting the barbecue.

"Still lots to go." Su Weiai answered with a bitter smile. "But we don't need to skewer everything, right? We all eat very little, this should be enough."

Wiping away tears from being choked, Bei Yaoluo turned around and saw that the skewered food already covered most of the table, but 2/3 of the ingredients hadn't been touched. It seemed she really had bought too much. She laughed awkwardly and stepped forward: "I'll help too."

Bei Yaoluo's thinking was indeed simple—it was rare to come out for barbecue, so having too little food would be embarrassing. So she grabbed a little of everything she saw, and in the end... bought six or seven hundred yuan worth of ingredients.

Bei Yaoluo felt that a friend who could make Xifeng bring her along on such a distant trip must have an extraordinary relationship.

This made Ye Zhenzhen show a bitter smile. This was truly trouble falling from the sky while sitting at home—how could she possibly manage a crab hiding in the sand?

But no matter what, Xifeng had indeed suffered an unexpected injury. She had taken money but failed to fulfill her due responsibilities, so she should have the proper apologetic attitude. Thus she lowered her head and said sincerely: "I'm sorry."
