Chapter 548 - 268: Revelation

Sword Star and the others remained at the entrance of the research station, watching Wu Chang from afar, hoping to catch a glimpse of something.

But the darkness on Night Island is different from ordinary darkness; it not only devours light but greatly limits the perception of those on the island.

Lei Huo crouched beside the corpse of Fujita Hideyuki, examining it, and asked, "Spiritual energy?"

Sword Star nodded to the others, affirming Wu Chang’s words were true. Sword Star’s action was not intentional deception testing Wu Chang, but rather the group was worried about the monster hijacking or possessing Wu Chang and blending into their midst.
