"You’re the little meatball! Mother says I’m ’puffed up with cuteness,’ and that little cubs are supposed to be chubby and fun to play with. A flash of envy crossed Ali’s eyes as she watched. ’Even though Father is a bit too hyper and acts more like a big brother than a dad,’ she thought, ’his love for Mother is so sincere and passionate. It really makes you envious.’

After their little squabble, Xiao Cheng dropped his playful demeanor. He scanned their surroundings warily out of the corner of his eye, then leaned over and whispered to his little cub, "Years ago, your Father Zhi Le was saving Liwa when he was attacked by Rogue Beasts. They stripped him of his superpower."

Ali gave a cold laugh. "So, this Liwa is a Rogue Beast?"

Xiao Cheng’s eyes narrowed. "Ali, are you saying that the superpower talent stripped from Zhi Le is now inside Liwa?"

"Yes. No wonder Father Zhi Le trains so hard, but his progress is still a bit slow. The higher his Level gets, the more obvious the bottleneck becomes.
