Chapter 109 THE STUDENTS
Chapter 109 THE STUDENTS
"So you tell me that you aren’t a teacher but a soldier that was assigned to protect the students from your zone but sent here by invaders from your ship?" Asks the great elder.
He nods his head.
Everyone turns to each other, they seemed not surprised from his explanation.
"No wonder, it seems that those race and those traitors are now taking action to eradicate our race." The great elder takes a deep breath.
"I can’t trust you, is there anything on you that confirms your identity?" The great elder asks.
He gives him his ID but there’s a special status on it, a teacher.
"Elder Tian, please take our scanner, let us verify his identity."
"You have a scanner?" He was stunned.
The man snorts. " We are pure martial society but this doesn’t mean we don’t have things that the Federation has. You guys from the lower zones rely on the Federation but in our zone, we rely on our strength to pave way for our territory, we only need to send a small amount of resources to the Martial Alliance but we have the absolute rule on our territory!"
A flash of light appears on Sean’s eyes, what he said seems to be similar to the new mission that the Federation sent them.
So, they’re trying to copy what the people of the Core Zone was doing.
It seems that the Federation can no longer sustain itself or at least can no longer protect every city they govern.
Shaking his head, he needs to return back to his group first before pondering about such things.
"Great elder, we brought the scanner." The great elder scans the ID.
After verifying it, they were relieved, fighting against a terrifying existence like Sean is too dangerous.
"Good, we have verified your identity, if you want to go to the Core Zone, I suggest that you go to Thousand Snake Sect, it seems that they hadn’t left yet because their young master’s pet beast is on the verge of evolving."
Sean was relieved, using the locator is too mentally exhausting, if there’s another way to go to the Core Zone, he would choose it.
"By the way, I’ve heard that you guys needs months to travel to the Core Zone but it seems that this was a lie."
"Of course it’s a lie but this wasn’t really a believable one, we only share this lie to confuse those from other worlds." The great elder looks at him.
"Look at your current condition, such a basic lie managed to save us, what about you guys?"
He laughs out loud. "The Federation isn’t that trustable."
Sean agrees with his words.
He was given a map and a token representing the Cloud Stepping Sect.
He only needs to promise to take care of the participants from their sect.
He’s more that willing, before leaving, he healed everyone, including those that he didn’t hurt.
Saying goodbye, he left the sect, his new target, the neighboring power, the Thousand Snake Sect.
Meanwhile, Wuk’s situation is clearly very different.
He had become a celebrity amongst the Beastman, it’s because he had never been defeated by any of the geniuses, he was deemed invincible under the gold rank.
In his room, he was training a punching technique that Sean taught him.
It was already night so he didn’t practice Celestial Sun Body.
Practicing Intermediate Cultivation Technique is also very difficult, it needs total focus and he can’t really do that while still worrying about his family’s safety.
"Lord Wuk! There’s a situation! We’re being attacked by numerous monsters!" One of the teachers shouts.
His expression changes and he left the room, he hears a canopy of roars and cries.
Seeing the large number of monsters charging towards their ship.
The ship, the only way he knows that can lead him back to his family.
His expression turns into rage as he charges towards the large number of monsters.
Raising his rod, it’s size suddenly increases sharply, becoming as large as the ship they’re currently on.
Thrust!
BOOM!
A large number of monsters turned into minced meat and bloody pulp just from this one attack.
Opening his mouth, he starts channeling energy in his chest, this is a skill that he hadn’t used before because he’s unaware how to fully utilize it.
Fire Breath!
After the evolution of Scorchy, Beast World had become more complete and the presence of fire element is now much more clearer.
Using it as a template, he transfers the majority of his spiritual energy to his lungs and heart, then use his yang energy as the lighter for the attack.
The darkness of the night disappears from a short two seconds, leaving only scorched earth.
Suddenly, his expression changes as he feels a powerful creature approaching at rapid speed.
Without hesitation, he transforms into his ape form.
Durability Aura!
He blocks the charge of the monster, stopping it before it can reach the ship.
Vajra Diamond!
ROAR!
He roars as he punches the monster with a Vajra Fist but it doesn’t hurt the creature that looks like nothing he had ever encountered.
He was captured by a pincer in the head of the monster, he can’t break free but it can’t also break him because of his ability.
He reverts back to his original form and escapees, that monster isn’t just a simple gold rank being but a pseudo Innate!
"Escape! I can’t defeat that monster!" He shouts at the others but two individuals suddenly flew towards the monster.
"Don’t!" He screams with wide eyes.
They were the great elder of the White Tiger Clan and Dragon Elephant Clan.
They summoned their beast bond, unlike humans, Beastmen can only sign a contract with mystique creature that is related to their bloodline and their slots are incredibly small but there’s an advantage to this.
They both roar as they fuse with their beast bond, becoming larger.
"Descent of the divine white tiger!"
"Moving island!"
The two use their clans strongest move but the monster just shrugs it and slaps them with it’s tongue, they immediately splits into four figures just after one attack, they were forced to cancel their transformation, that meant that the damage they took is severe.
Just as the monster was about to eat them, a large rod appears once again and smashes it into the face of the monster.
It didn’t back off but it’s mouth was forcibly stuffed with Wuk’s weapon.
"Rescue them!" He roars as he feels the powerful force of the monster and was pulled away, he curses and let’s go before flying towards it.
The monster twists it’s body and it’s tail whips him away, causing him to crash into the ship.
"You guys need to escape! I’ll hold off that thing for as long as I can!"
Gritting his teeth, he stands up, if it weren’t for the fact that his body is unbreakable, he might had been killed from that just one attack but at least his body has stored the power of that attack.
Indestructible (Unique): The main path the host pursues, undying, unbreaking, immortal and invincible. Forged from battles, tempered by the sun, a body that contains immeasurable strength, unimaginable power, endless vitality and indestructible!
One of the abilities of his body is to take any damage he had taken and release it in his own attack.
This is perfect for someone unkillable as him but the pain is still present, that means that every time he was hit, the pain would magnify since his body is taking all the power of the attack.
If it weren’t for Intermediate Cultivation Technique helping him mitigate some of the pain, he might had been unable to keep his sanity in check.
"Go!"
He flies towards the monster once again, the roars of the monsters made everyone shudder.
The other great elders of the other clans starts making a move.
Killing the weaker monsters and repelling the gold rank ones.
The ship starts moving once again, using the majority of it’s energy into barrier.
Seeing the ship move, the pseudo Innate monster raises it’s body and tries to slam itself.
Wuk thrusts it’s rod and an image of it’s own tail whip appears on the mind of the monster.
BOOM!
The attack didn’t really does damage on it but it still made it pause.
Wuk roars and starts thrusting it’s rod with images of fists on it.
He even does a sweeping motion, hitting the other monsters around the ship, taking all the aggro to him.
Everyone can’t help but look at him with admiration, some even has a hint of worship, Beastmen follows the rule of the jungle greater than human and they are all deeply attracted to strength, especially physical prowess.
As the ship takes flightl finally, with many damages and barrier seemingly on the verge of getting broken, Wuk use this opportunity to propel himself to the ship using the strike of his opponent.
BAM! As he crashes on the barrier, he enlarges the rod and throws it to the monster, it carries all the damage he has taken.
He then faints, the rod hits the monster, actually hurting it but there’s no lasting damage.
The ship booms and escapes the area, only landing after getting far away but it’s now lacking in energy and can no longer move.
Wuk managed to get away from the danger but the battle has left him unconscious for several days.
Back to the ship of Zone Z.
The students are training under the watchful eyes of the remaining soldiers and school higher ups.
Maki and Fabuki has been absorbing spiritual energy in the air and is using it to refine a spiritual liquid.
"Even as a psychic, I can’t believe that I can’t last as long as you." Fabuki stands up and complains.
Besides him was Tsu, trying to create some pills.
"That’s just how it is, unlike you two, our Basic Cultivation Technique is milder and we had learned some method to make the meditation much more enjoyable." Tsu explains.
"Auntie, I’ve come here to ask for some basic replenishing and vitality pills."
Jericho enters the room, he’s now the captain of their group.
"Are you sure that you should take my pills? compared to what others can give you guys, mine is lacking." Tsu asks.
She’s worried that she’s holding them back because of her own training.
"Nonsense! They might have more mastery than you because of experience but they don’t have your physique, an assistant like Blossom and the benefits from infused pills with Basic Cultivation Technique."
This is something he’s proud of but also get pressured from, Sean’s own family was growing, he can’t just stay at iron rank if he wants to feel like he deserved to be called his friend.
After taking the pills, he left, on his way, he saw Yana carrying multiple books, with her was Scorchy.
He didn’t lend a hand as he knows that Yana doesn’t want anyone to help her with such stuff and he respects her decision.
Further deeper were Chika, Ganko and Hina were training, watching over them was Bun Bun.
"I’ve brought the pills for Chika, hopefully when we meet Sean once again, he’ll let you open your meridian points."
"He will, we already talked about it." Hina smiles, Ganko looks at Chika teasingly, the latter blushes profusely.
Jericho doesn’t know what they mean but he doesn’t want to be so nosy and just left after giving them the pills.
"Jericho, finally you’re back, the four of us are talking about our plan once we arrive at the Core Zones." John saw him and his eyes lights up.
"You guys are really busy with planning, I didn’t see you training yesterday." He teases.
"What can we do? Besides, without Sean, you guys are also unable to continue training every single day." John sighs.
Their training causes some injuries that needs some rest to recover.
"You’re right about that, I just hope that we could surprise Sean once we meet each other again."
