Out of politeness, a few people waited at the door thinking they’d wait for the people inside to come out first.

Unexpectedly, the conversation inside was related to the missing steel incident.

"Director Zhao, tell us, what’s really going on? How could you just fire Comrade Su like that? He’s been with the factory for years, always diligent and honest..."

It was Director Liu’s voice.

Soon came Director Zhao’s voice, sounding confident and assured.

"Director, if it weren’t for a witness, I wouldn’t have done this. That day, Niu Er personally saw Su Wenbing and others collaborate from inside and outside to steal steel from the factory."

There was silence for a moment inside, followed by Director Liu’s voice again: "There must be some misunderstanding, call Comrade Su back and let me personally ask him."

"Director, there’s a witness; what else is there to ask? Clearly, it’s Su Wenbing’s greed..."

Before he could finish, Su Xiaoxiao couldn’t stand it anymore.

From the short conversation between the two, she could clearly sense that Director Zhao definitely had issues.

Otherwise, how could he have dismissed her elder brother before the director returned, and now continue to throw dirt on her brother’s name.

Director Zhao then noticed the two police officers who had just entered through the door, his hand trembled, nearly dropping the information in his hand.

But he quickly regained composure: "Comrade Police, you came at the right time, I want to report that our factory’s Comrade Su Wenbing abused his position to sell off the factory’s steel, you should hurry and arrest him."

Even Director Liu seemed thoughtful, the girl made a valid point, even selling all the steel wouldn’t be as valuable as a single piece of equipment.

Steel was cumbersome and heavy, moving it around takes effort, even he’d choose to sell equipment.

The older Police Chen stepped forward: "Director Liu, can you call in the eyewitness, so we can confront things on the spot? Might find some clues."

Police Chen gave an eye signal to the young officer behind him, who immediately understood, taking out pen and paper prepared to record.

Niu Er swallowed and then said: "Officers, here’s what happened, I forgot to bring something that day, remembered halfway and came back to get it. Just as I arrived at the factory, I saw Su Wenbing collaborating with others to sneak steel out."

Police Chen stared into his eyes: "Are you sure you saw clearly?"
