As long as you have the courage, fierce ghosts go on maternity leave.

Chapter 170: Good, I like your proactive attitude!

Chapter 170: Good, I like your proactive attitude!

"Tentacle monster! It’s a tentacle monster coming!"

"Tentacle demon! Run quickly!"

...

In an instant, the entire internet cafe was thrown into chaos, more than a dozen ghost servants got up and ran, and one by one, the ghostly computers, their various wires animated by ghostly power, turned into arms and legs, swinging wildly as they jumped down from the computer desks.

Alexander paid no heed to the cafe manager’s pleas and struggles, simply smashing the back of his hand into his neck, instantly subduing him, then without hesitation, he slit his throat.

Seeing this scene, the ghost computers and ghost servants ran even faster.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Alexander snapped his fingers lightly, and tentacles shot out like black lightning, coiled around various weapons.

The ghost in the lead was instantly pierced through the chest by a dagger.

Next, a giant axe swept through, two ghost servants’ heads instantly sent flying.

Amidst the buzzing of a chainsaw, the sharp teeth penetrated through a chest, the still-rotating teeth splattered ghost blood and flesh everywhere.

Nearby, a Ferocious-level computer, using a mouse and keyboard as feet and running at high speed, was splashed with a full case of ghost blood and shredded flesh, and the entire computer instantly cowered.

The case suddenly flipped over, facing Alexander, and the liquid crystal display screen smashed down like a kowtow on the ground.

A terrified ghostly figure tore out from behind the screen, crying out in terror:"Don’t kill me! My lord, don’t kill me! I’ll do whatever you say! Just don’t kill me!"

Alexander’s tentacles were still wildly swinging, and a giant axe brushed past his computer case, cutting a fleeing evil ghost in half at the waist, and crashing into a computer ghost case attempting to cross the doorway, sparking and smoking.

In a moment, all the ghost computers and remaining two ghost servants in the internet cafe were subdued.

Looking at the terrifying tentacles coiled around ghostly objects flying everywhere, they all understood Alexander’s meaning.

Run and die!

The chosen ones had already been stunned.

They knew this guy was tough, but not to this extent!

This was a horror instance, not a cheat game!

Wasn’t it about surviving with courage, talent, wisdom, and luck?

"He’s not a chosen one, he can’t be a chosen one! Didn’t you hear the ghosts calling him a tentacle monster? He might be the big BOSS of the horror world, this is really terrifying!" one of the chosen ones declared with certainty.

"You’re right! This is not something we can deal with at this stage! After he killed the manager, I got a prompt that we can end the instance early, should we leave here?" another chosen one said.

"He doesn’t seem interested in us, should we take the opportunity to gain some benefits? The opportunity is rare!" one chosen one said with a bit of greed in his eyes.

"My intuition tells me that if you don’t want to die, you’d better leave now!" Cain shook his head without hesitation, choosing to end the instance and leave.

The others, having witnessed Cain’s intuition, followed suit when he said so, including the one who had shown some greed.

Among those who were chosen one and reached this level, none are fools.

The one who died before was simply too far away to see Alexander activate the soldier-level dagger; he only saw his chainsaw and mistakenly thought he could match that power.

"This guy, his talent is indeed impressive. No wonder he’s lived this long!" Alexander muttered and withdrew his gaze, a smile playing at the corner of his mouth.

"Dear computer friends, I want to move you all to a new home. We’re about to rob the place! Keyboards, mice, speakers, tables, chairs, stools – pack them all! If anyone leaves even a mouse pad behind on their computer desk, don’t blame me for being ruthless!"

As Alexander spoke, seven tentacles wielding various weapons whizzed through the air above the internet cafe. Human head lamps fell from the ceiling; all kinds of peripherals were uprooted.

Crack! Crack!

The first vengeful computer ghost Alexander had disciplined was the quickest to respond. Its black power cord, mouse cord, and keyboard cord coiled, lifting the computer desk and chair with a human head lamp attached.

It scurried to Alexander, fawning, "My lord, I’m ready!"

"Good, I like your proactive attitude!" Alexander waved and stuffed it into Annie’s clinic’s backyard.

With a leader to follow, the remaining ghost computers copied the first, packing themselves and running to Alexander with tables and chairs.

"Big brother... what should we, we do?" The last two lower-level ghost servants looked at Alexander with terrified faces.

"I have enough ordinary ghost food, but not many ghost servants. Fine, look around, take anything else that can be taken!" Alexander scanned the room and ordered.

"Understood!" The two ghost servants glanced at each other and split up, one heading behind the bar and the other towards the restroom.

In a short while, Alexander’s feet were surrounded by a pile of peripherals, even including two bloodstained doors.

"Quite sensible, these two ghosts!" Alexander’s eyes brightened, deciding to keep them.

Of course, these two weren’t contracted ghost slaves with Alexander and couldn’t enter the instance directly through the ghost bead.

But Alexander instructed them to sign up at the clinic, believing they’d follow his orders if they weren’t foolish.

...

"Big brother!" Full Moon, stepping out of the internet cafe, immediately approached with a face full of remorse: "I... I accidentally killed him!"

Beneath her lay a corpse and a trembling, fierce-level computer.

"It’s fine, you did well. Thieves like that should be killed!" Alexander said without hesitation, gathering the computer, mounting Full Moon’s motorcycle, and waving: "Next stop!"

The internet cafe instance ended with a 3s rating, the other rewards negligible except for the 320 points of ghost energy.

In the following time, Alexander didn’t let a single instance registered in his notebook escape. His ghost energy value began to soar rapidly.

By the day before the Fierce Ghost Street Battle instance, he finally stopped. He had fought continuously for days, completing seventy-nine instances. He was only 1090 ghost energy points away from a perfect Fierce-level!

Out of seventy-nine instances, over fifty had 3s ratings, and seven had the top-level ex rating.

Ratings of sss-level or higher were reported to all the chosen ones, with an average of twenty to thirty or even more announcements daily. These frequent notifications directly stunned the power structures of all chosen ones in the real world.

When Alexander emerged from the instance, he was met by an unexpected visitor: an investigator from the United Nations’ Horror World Management Bureau.

Along with him, he brought a bizarre and unsettling video related to Alexander.
