As long as you have the courage, fierce ghosts go on maternity leave.

Chapter 132: Master Luban

Chapter 132: Master Luban

"Kind? You’re kidding, right? Not even a ghost would believe you!" The old man completely ignored Alexander’s words, keeping a close watch on him with a defensive posture.

"What’s there to fear? This old guy has been on the mountain top for a long time now, with nobody controlling him. The ghost energy he’s stored up should be almost depleted after all this time. I don’t believe he can retaliate! Smash into him until he’s done for!"

After the previous collision, Richard, who had merged with the golden motorcycle, seemed to have awakened a certain special property. Now he seemed eager to test his power on everything he saw.

"Richard!" The old man’s eyes widened in rage as he glared at the golden motorcycle. "I always knew you were trouble, and I still looked after you! When you lost your motorcycle, I even helped modify this golden one for you!"

"You know how to modify motorcycles?" Alexander, who was not initially intending to pay any attention to the old man, suddenly halted his actions upon hearing this and asked.

"Of course! I’m the best mechanic around here. Give me enough tools and parts, and I can assemble a motorcycle from scratch!" The old man nodded.

Hearing these words, Alexander’s eyes lit up, and he quickly asked, "In that case, how about you join me?"

The old man didn’t just know how to modify and repair, he could also assemble and manufacture. If he could recruit him, it would be like having an infinite supply of ghost motorcycles.

Alexander could even open a motorcycle shop in Ghost Street, guaranteed to be a hit.

Of course, he currently didn’t have the equipment or parts, but that wasn’t an issue - they were available in this instance! He wouldn’t let such a resource-rich instance go easily.

This time, not only the ghost motorcycles, but even the small hills were on Alexander’s agenda. He had only two options: either get the instance’s ghost pearl, or clear everything out completely.

"Young man, don’t think you can do whatever you want just because you have Richard. If the old golden motorcycle was still around, I might be worried. But this one here? I’m not scared," the old man said.

"The old golden motorcycle?" Alexander looked at Richard, clearly not understanding.

"That was back when I was alive!" Richard shook his head and said, "As I said, we’re all motorcycle enthusiasts, coming from different countries around the world.

We usually called each other by code names, motorcycle names, or online names. I, Angel, Full Moon, Crescent Moon, we were the initial organizers. The four motorcycles were all custom-made in the same shop."

"Later on, my bike was completely wrecked in a race not even half a month after I bought it. This motorcycle was actually an old one I used before, modified by Master Luban."

Alexander nodded in understanding. No wonder Richard was so familiar with this place, they were the founders of the club.

But Alexander didn’t care about that, his gaze was still fixed on the old man called Luban, his lips curving into a smile.

This smile, however, sent chills down Luban’s spine. If he remembered correctly, Alexander wore the same smile when he drove into the blue motorcycle earlier.

"You... don’t think about it, I won’t surrender! Even if I have to die again, I’ll do it on this land. There’s no way I’m leaving with you!" Luban declared firmly.

"Who said anything about leaving?" Alexander rolled his eyes.

This old man was getting ahead of himself. Alexander wanted him to stay because after he became the owner of this instance, Luban could help him build motorcycles.

Being a ghost, there’s no such thing as fatigue. Alexander even shamelessly planned to have him work 20 hours a day!

"What’s with that look, do you look down on me? I’ll have you know, I may not be good at riding motorcycles, but no one can match my modifications. This motorcycle of mine is at least ten times better than your golden one!" Luban said.

"What are you talking about, old man?" Richard, seemingly impatient, glared and said, "Boss, this old man is useless, let’s just dismantle him! If I can absorb him and the parts of the blue motorcycle, I’ll definitely be stronger!"

Alexander only smiled without saying a word.

Luban seemed to pick up on something and asked hesitantly, "You’re not... considering both of us, are you?"

Alexander gave an embarrassed laugh. Although that was indeed what he was thinking, it felt awkward to have it pointed out so directly. For a moment, they all fell silent.

After a while, Alexander finally said, "I don’t need you to leave here, just pledge your loyalty to me. In the future, I will let you make full use of your talents."

"Fine!" Hearing this, Luban nodded in agreement, "I died here, and most of the motorcycles on this mountain were modified by me. As long as I don’t have to leave this instance and can stay with them, that’s all I want."

"Can the motorcycles you’ve modified obey you?" Alexander’s eyes lit up.

"Except for a few ungrateful jerks and those without consciousness, the rest should have no problem," Luban replied, glaring at Richard when mentioning the jerks.

Alexander felt elated. "Perfect! Now listen to my orders..."

While stuffing part after part into the fuel tank of the golden motorcycle, he lowered his voice and began giving instructions. Mysterious laughter echoed occasionally from the top of the mountain.

An hour later, Alexander quietly cleared a large building without a sound, while Through mental telepathy, he instructed Surong and Annie to start assembling motorcycles and explained his arrangements to Luban.

"Boss, isn’t this a bit excessive?" Richard looked sympathetically at the towering building in the distance.

"Yes, young man, you are being a bit unfair. This could really upset people," Luban nodded in agreement.

"If you don’t do it this way, do you have any better ideas?" Alexander raised an eyebrow.

"No!" Both of them shook their heads simultaneously, exchanging glances, understanding the implication in each other’s eyes. This young man really had the audacity!

"Since you both agree, then the next step is the most crucial part of the plan!"

As he spoke, Alexander cast his gaze at the top of the round building.

In the distance, the massive circular structure housed countless mechanical gears in motion. This was a huge motorcycle manufacturing plant, with ghostly apparitions often emerging from the machinery.

Evidently, these machines were all possessed by ghosts driven by their obsessions. Their eyes, however, were all vacant like the blue motorcycle woman’s, their ghostly movements controlled as if by pre-set programming.

At that moment, on a platform atop the semi-circular building, three figures were watching Alexander intently.

Seeing Alexander take steps towards the semi-circular building, the woman in the kimono said, "His target is the Ghost Master. Our plan is already more than halfway completed, but the Ghost Master is still conscious. We can’t let him continue forward, in case something goes wrong!"

The man in black frowned, and after a moment, nodded and said, "Just to be safe. This kid seems a bit strange, go and stop him!

Don’t kill him, after all, he hasn’t broken any rules. The Ghost Master we provide here is very satisfactory to Mr. K, we can’t afford any mistakes!"

"Don’t worry! His power is too weak, I don’t take him seriously," the woman in the kimono confidently replied. She then leapt out of the window, a dozen meters above the ground, heading straight towards the outside.
