Apocalyptic Rebirth: With a repairman system space, she rises again.

Chapter 791 791: Epilogue.

Chapter 791 791: Epilogue.

1 Year and 5 Months later.

The sky remained perfectly intact. The Grand Masters had done a wonderful job. Life without the Watchers, mist and the hell which afflicted earth was strange, to say the least. It was quieter. Fear still ruled the world. People still ducked or screamed when they saw anything large in the sky.

It was safe to say that Earthlings had alien PTSD. They didn't fantasize about meeting races from other worlds anymore. Most didn't even watch sci-fi movies on alien invasions. It was a sore subject they disdained.

Sunshine was wearing something much more formal. A black and pink suit with the logo of the organization on the back. Today was her graduation. She had officially become a Grand Master of the Repairman Organization and received her badge of honor.

In the last sixteen months, she had studied and worked as if the apocalypse was still ongoing and she had a sky to patch. Her efforts had paid off because she was the youngest Grand Master alive.

Her efforts in the battle for justice and change in the organization had also been successful. A deep investigation into the Organization's vaults had revealed a literal basket of rotten tomatoes...corrupt officials who had been working with Zevran. The Council woman had built a massive criminal cartel right under everyone's noses.

Sunshine spent her free time helping the authorities sniff and hunt them out like a bloodhound.

"Let's go." Hades bellowed impatiently, startling her.

Sunshine wanted to tell him to relax, but her husband was pacing like a caged lion. For the first time ever, the whole family was headed to Glacis for the celebration of her elevation to Grand Master. The King was throwing a party for her. The entire sea kingdom was celebrating.

"I am ready!" Ariel announced, marching into the living room.

Everyone stopped and stared. Ariel was wearing a miniature version of the Repairman uniform, complete with a tiny tool belt and a hat that was slightly too big for his head.

"Look at him," Sunshine cooed, her heart melting. "My little successor."

Ariel puffed out his chest. "It did not come as a surprise that you chose me. I have the steady hands and the superior intellect."

Earl rolled his eyes so hard it looked painful. "Please. If I were the firstborn, that favor would've gone to me. You're just lucky and I am too busy with my medical studies. I never knew this was the kind of family where eldest sons are loved more."

"Jealousy is a bad color on you, Earl." Ariel retorted, adjusting his tiny wrench.

Castiel looked on with no interest, counting the money in his hands. That was his area of interest apparently. He was on track to be the future leader of the Quinn group, if he kept it up.

"Let's go." Hades groaned. He was vibrating with excitement. He wasn't wearing a suit or formal outfit; he was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt that said, 'MY WIFE IS A GRAND MASTER!'

Sunshine sighed. Their door was opened and the rest of the Quinn's entered in one large group. Leah and Nimo also came, with their families. The house was filled so Sunshine started sending people into her space immediately.

Last into the space were the boys, White, Tank and Hunter.

"Is everyone ready?" Sunshine asked as she joined them, looking around at her chaotic, beautiful family.

"Yes!" they shouted in unison.

Sunshine closed her eyes and signaled her system. "Teleport us to Glacis."

[Yes host.]

Hades reached out and grabbed Sunshine's hand. As the familiar white light began to swallow them, their eyes met. They arrived in Glacis, in the large resting area of an arena where assigned teams could relax while waiting to be called.

Immediately, the fascination started. The kids screamed at the sight of giant fish with pearl necklaces around their large necks, a choir of singing females that looked likes mermaids from fairy tales. Heroic looking guards with long weapons and powerful tails.

"I live here now." Warren declared. "I can't believe this is what I have been missing out on. I call dibs on all Sunshine's off world trips starting today."

The door opened, and Nine's face poked inside. He scuttled in proudly, antennae twitching. trailed by his many children. One hundred of them had come!

They swarmed the seats, chirping "Aunt Sunshine! Aunt Sunshine!" until the room echoed like a hive. Their mother, already pregnant again, collapsed onto a sea shell shaped couch, muttering, "Next time, I am staying home and sending them to you Suni."

Sunshine laughed, patting the nearest bug-child on the head. "They are so cute, but I would not wish to be in your shoes."

Nine laughed. "You are just jealous that we can have many children in one pregnancy while your human body can sustain what...two maximum?"

She snorted.

"Actually, six to seven." Ariel pitched in.

"Could be more." Ala said, patting a little insectoid the same way Sunshine was doing.

Her mother Leah was watching with worry; afraid her daughter would be bitten. Dominic had sanitizer and a tissue ready, just in case her desire for cleanliness kicked in.

Another person squeezed in to the room: Vortan, who had also come with his family. His parents, wife and two children. The first thing he did was look at Nine's kids with horror in his eyes.

"I don't think there is birth control where he comes from," he said, hugging Sunshine.

Those who were close laughed, including Nine and his wife.

The room was even more crowded, but there was no absence of joy and hugs.

The Quinn's and little insectoids were already mixing, meanwhile Warren had already abandoned decorum, sliding up to the sea maidens that were welcoming them with dazzling smiles. "So, do you come here often?" he asked one, only to be slapped by a tail fin that sent him spinning in the air. Everyone laughed.

But Warren was not giving up, and his mother looked horrified.

"Looks like the Quinn blood is going universal." Aunt Ambrosia giggled, partially intoxicated already!

Hades whispered to Sunshine, in the mix of the noise, "I am so glad that Sheldon is not here. One horny idiot is enough."

She chuckled.

At the center of the arena, perched on podium was Zulu, the announcer of the ceremony. The parrot had been to Glacis three times and already notorious for her foul mouth and temper. "Ladies, gents, fish, bugs, cats, ugly Lisha and whatever that guy is--WELCOME!" it squawked.

Lisha snorted.

"Today, we celebrate three great repairmen." Zulu shouted. "But mostly, we are celebrating the goddaughter of the sea king. The queen of the apocalypse and apparently aunt to like a thousand insectoids. We celebrate a woman whose name will be remembered forever because there is a big statue at the entrance of the palace with her name on it. I have been denied the same pleasure, but I am not complaining. Let's just say the Glacian King is short..."

A dramatic pause.

Everyone gasped.

"On vision." The parrot finished.

The communal sigh of relief which followed could be heard all through the sea.

"You guys are so easy." Zulu chuckled. "Anyway, roar for the guest of honor, the reason we are all here. Roar for Sunshine Raine Quinn. A name that will be remembered all through the universe."

Sunshine kissed Hades quickly, rose and covered her smile as sea maidens escorted her out. Even underwater, chaos followed her like a loyal pet. But she didn't mind it at all, because in this life, it was a beautiful chaos, and she couldn't ask for more.

THE END.
