Apocalypse: Infinite Breaker Online

Chapter 80: Revenge Complete

Chapter 80: Revenge Complete

Inside the cavern, Axir and Aoi faced several people, all trapped inside the [Doomblaze Terror Ward].

Selena, Lexi, Yuta, and Kazuo.

At the corner of the cave, malformed Jason and Entond sat in a full kowtow posture on the ground.

"Look at them." Axir pointed at the duo.

Selena and the others trembled as they looked at the two ’monsters.’

The two monsters looked up, their faces reverting to their human appearance.

"W-What?" Lexi’s eyes trembled.

"Fuck." Kazuo cursed, but his jaw trembled right after as fear filled him and shut his mouth tight.

Aoi whispered, "So you are going to turn them into monsters forever?"

"They’ll work for me as my slave monsters until I die."

Axir waved his hand.

The cavern fell into a suffocating silence as Axir’s words echoed off the stone walls. Selena’s breath came in short, panicked gasps. Lexi pressed herself against the cave wall, her eyes darting between the two malformed figures in the corner and Axir’s impassive face.

"P-Please, y-you don’t need to do this." Yuta’s voice cracked as he dropped to his knees.

The card—[Bio-Prime Codex]—materialized in his hand, and the temperature in the cavern seemed to drop.

"Please!" Selena lurched forward, falling to her hands and knees. "Give me one more chance! D-Don’t do this to me, I beg you!"

Axir’s voice held no malice, no satisfaction—only cold finality. "You chose your own path, and it led to this."

He activated the card.

The [Bio-Prime Codex] dissolved into four streams of grotesque, writhing energy that shot across the cavern like living serpents. They struck Selena, Lexi, Yuta, and Kazuo simultaneously.

Selena screamed first.

Her body convulsed as the bio-energy invaded every cell. Her skin rippled, bones cracking audibly as they restructured beneath the surface. She clawed at her arms as patches of chitinous plating erupted through her flesh like ice breaking apart.

"MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT—AAAHHH!" Her words dissolved into an inhuman shriek as her jaw distended, teeth elongating into predatory fangs.

Lexi tried to run. She made it three steps before her legs gave out, muscles tearing and reforming. She collapsed, writhing on the cave floor as her spine elongated, vertebrae cracking and popping as it extended. Her screams turned guttural and wet as her vocal cords transformed.

"Fuck, fuck, FUCK!" Kazuo roared, trying to fight it through sheer willpower. His body swelled with unnatural muscle mass, veins bulging black beneath reddening skin. He punched the ground in rage and pain, and his fist sank into the stone; his bones had already begun hardening into something far denser than human. "I’ll kill you! I’LL FUCKING—"

His threat cut off as his mouth filled with blood. He spat, and three of his human teeth came out with it, replaced immediately by rows of serrated razor edges.

Yuta simply whimpered, curling into a fetal position as the transformation ravaged him. His body shrank initially, becoming more compact and denser, before alien musculature began building over his frame in layers.

Aoi watched with wide eyes, a hand covering her mouth.

"Now," Axir said calmly, pulling out a series of glowing materials from his spatial storage, "let’s make sure you’re properly equipped for your new lives."

He tossed a [Crystallized Void Essence—Prime 5-star] onto Selena’s convulsing form. The dark crystal shattered on impact, its energy absorbing into her mutating flesh. Her screams reached a new pitch as shadowy tendrils erupted from her shoulder blades, whipping through the air before integrating into her body as additional appendages.

A [Titan Bone Fragment—Prime 3-star] landed near Kazuo. Despite his pain, his transforming body instinctively reached for it, crushing it in his mutating hand. The bone dust dissolved into his skin, and his skeletal structure audibly reinforced itself, the cracking sounds intensifying before his frame expanded another foot in height.

"No! No, I don’t want this!" Lexi sobbed, her voice already deepening and losing its human quality. "Please, I wan—"

Axir dropped a [Serpent’s Venom Gland—Prime 4-star] and an [Adaptive Camouflage Membrane—Prime 2-star] onto her. The resources melted into her skin like water into sand. Immediately, her flesh began taking on a mottled, color-shifting quality, and twin glands swelled at the sides of her neck.

For Yuta, who had gone silent except for wet, choking sounds, Axir provided a [Berserker’s Heart Seed—Prime 3-star] and a [Razor Fern Cluster—Prime 1-star]. The heart seed pulsed once before burrowing into Yuta’s chest, disappearing beneath the skin. His entire body spasmed, and then went eerily still even as the transformation continued, his breathing becoming deep and regular—the calm of a predator, not a human.

The cave filled with the sounds of breaking bones, tearing flesh, and inhuman screaming that gradually shifted into growls, roars, and chittering.

Selena’s transformation was completed first.

Selena rose unnaturally tall, her body wrapped in uneven layers of black chitin that grew over her like a living shell. Jagged plates overlapped across her ribs and shoulders, while faint violet light seeped through thin cracks as though something inside her was still glowing and pressing outward. Her arms hung too long, clawed fingers nearly brushing the ground, each talon twitching with subtle, insect-like impatience. Six shadowed tendrils spilled from her back, neither fully solid nor fully smoke, moving restlessly as if breathing on their own.

Her face remained disturbingly human even as everything else changed. Her features stretched thinner and sharper, shaped by something that understood beauty only in outline.

"Master." The word came out without hesitation, her voice layered with inhuman harmonics.

Lexi finished next, her body sleeker, serpentine in quality even while maintaining a humanoid frame. Her skin shifted colors continuously, matching the cave wall behind her, then the shadows, then the flickering light of Axir’s flames.

She rose on legs that bent at too many angles and bowed her head. "Master."

Kazuo loomed like a malformed statue carved from volcanic stone. His massive body appeared subtly disproportionate, his arms hanging lower than they should have, his torso too broad, as though he were assembled from pieces never meant to align. His skin resembled cracked basalt, jagged fissures running across his frame and glowing faintly red from within like dying embers buried beneath rock. Whenever he moved, a grinding sound followed, as if stone dragged against stone inside him.

His face retained some human features, twisted into a permanent snarl, but his eyes showed the same absolute obedience. "Master," he growled, the rage gone from his voice.

Yuta no longer resembled anything that could pass for human. His body compressed inward while expanding outward at the same time, as though something inside him pushed against skin that was no longer designed to contain it. His frame was compact but swollen in unnatural places, muscle layering over muscle in uneven ridges that shifted beneath his flesh like something alive and restless.

His skin was pale, stretched tight and semi-glossy, thin enough that the branching green veins beneath it glowed faintly as they pulsed in slow, synchronized rhythm. Those veins did not follow human anatomy. They spread in fractal patterns across his chest, neck, and face, crawling upward toward his temples and down along his jaw.

"Master."

The four new Bio-Prime monsters moved to join Jason and Entond without question, their human minds intact but their wills completely subordinate.

Aoi finally lowered her hand from her mouth. "That... that was brutal, Axir."

The six Bio-Prime monsters sat in identical postures, awaiting their master’s commands, while in the depths of their minds, the humans they had been screamed silently—still aware, still conscious, but utterly powerless to resist.

Axir snapped his fingers, and he and Aoi appeared back in the mansion’s garden.

"So it’s done," Aoi muttered as she looked at Axir. "What’s next?"

"Next?" Axir lay down and took a deep breath before closing his eyes.

"Becoming the strongest, destroying devils, conquering the world, and winning the game to move to the next stage."

Fin.
