Chapter 775 - 779: A Loud Kiss

Chapter 775 - 779: A Loud Kiss

"You can play the piano?" Qin Wanwan lifted her tear-streaked little face, her eyes still wet with tears but now tinged with curiosity.

"Of course." Luo Jun looked at her face, hesitated for a moment, but finally raised his palm to wipe her tears away, then he turned and walked off.

He walked to the piano nearby, skillfully pulled out the bench, opened the lid, and after sitting down, he turned to look at Qin Wanwan. Seeing that she was still standing in the same place, he impatiently raised an eyebrow.

"Come here!"

Qin Wanwan sniffled and walked up to him.

"What do you want to listen to?" Luo Jun asked.

"Can you play ’Doraemon’?" Qin Wanwan countered.

Doraemon?!

Luo Jun’s eyebrows twitched, seemingly disappointed with the childish request.

Nevertheless, he raised his hands to the keys.

"Listen carefully, I’ll play it just once."

With slender fingers on the keys, Luo Jun took a deep breath, then started to play.

His small face, his little hands, neatly danced over the keys like flowing clouds and water. His small figure sat in front of the piano, but naturally emitted an impressive presence.

The sunlight streamed in through the window, casting a golden glow on his profile. Watching him, Qin Wanwan had long forgotten about crying and was just listening intently to his playing.

Having lived four years, Qin Wanwan had heard countless piano performances and even attended many concerts, but this was the first time someone was playing the piano just for her.

The two little ones, one playing, the other listening, both engrossed.

By the time the piece was finished, the little girl had already forgotten why she was crying and immediately started clapping her small, tender hands.

"Mo Mo, you’re so awesome, you play the piano so well, can you play something else? I want to listen more," she cheered.

Luo Jun glanced at the little girl with a helpless shrug of his small shoulders; he wasn’t a jukebox, after all.

Jumping off the piano bench, he lifted the lid to cover the keys and didn’t forget to push the bench back into its place.

"Next time."

Qin Wanwan blinked her large eyes, a hopeful look on her face, "Will you keep your word?"

Meeting her gaze, Luo Jun hesitated for a moment but finally nodded, "I will."

"You’re so nice." Qin Wanwan’s tears had turned into laughter. She stepped forward, holding Luo Jun’s shoulders, and before he could react, she leaned in and gave him a loud kiss on the cheek.

For a few seconds, Luo Jun was frozen in place.

After a moment, he came back to his senses, raised his hand to wipe his cheek where she had kissed him, and coolly said, "Next time, don’t kiss me without permission."

Qin Wanwan’s lips instantly turned down into a pout, "Do you not like me?"

Luo Jun looked at her, about to cry again, and simply frowned, "I don’t like to be friends with girls who cry all the time."

Upon hearing this, Qin Wanwan’s eyes, brimming with tears, suddenly retracted them forcefully, "I’m not crying."

"That’s better." Luo Jun reluctantly reached out his hand, "Then let’s be friends."

The little girl immediately showed her delight, reached out her hand like a grown-up, and shook hands with him, "It’s my birthday in a few days, will you come to my birthday party?"

"I’m about to go back to the United States and won’t be back for a few days," Luo Jun said.

Qin Wanwan looked somewhat disappointed, "My birthday is on April 9th, can you make it back by then?"

When Luo Jun heard Qin Wanwan’s words, he was also surprised, "Your birthday is the same day as mine?"
