"Xiao Qian?!" Huangfu Ruo looked at Luo Xiaoqian with a surprised and delighted expression, "You’re pregnant too?!"

Luo Xiaoqian nodded with a smile.

"Wow, that’s fantastic!" Huangfu Ruo examined her slim waist, "How far along are you?"

"The doctor said just six weeks." Luo Xiaoqian replied.

"No way, just like me, I’m also just over six weeks!" Huangfu Ruo became even more excited, "It seems these two kiddos have plotted to come along together. How about, we arrange a baby betrothal? I’ll be in charge of having a little prince, and you’ll be responsible for having a little prince!"

"It seems like we can’t really decide if it’s a boy or a girl, can we?!" Luo Xiaoqian said with a laugh.

"Who cares, let’s just agree on that for now, and if it’s not a match, we’ll talk then," Huangfu Ruo said with a laugh, linking arms with her, "Come on, in-laws, I’ll take you to see your future daughter-in-law’s dowry."

That remark once again prompted laughter from everyone.

The bedroom inside was as large as two normal living rooms, with a beautiful European bed on one side, draped with luxurious white gauze. The whole room was opulent yet cozy.

"Such a beautiful room, it’s like a princess’s chamber!"

Luo Xiaoqian took a look around the room and stepped out onto the balcony. This balcony faced the morning sun and for privacy, it overlooked a woodland not too far away.

From morning till night, sunlight could almost always shine into the bedroom.

"This is no princess’s chamber, come, I’ll take you to see the real princess’s room," Huangfu Ruo said with a laugh as she led the two out of the bedroom to a room diagonally across.

This room, slightly smaller than the master bedroom, had decor that was even more exquisite and beautiful.

The modest brass bed was draped in misty, gauzy layers, and the whole room exhaled a purely feminine, beautiful aura.

"See? This is my little princess’s room; this is the real princess’s chamber."

"Be careful, if it’s a boy in your belly and he’s raised as a princess every day, he might come out lacking a manly demeanor," Tong Yili teased with a laugh.

"Not a chance!" Huangfu Ruo raised her hand, gently touching the draping gauze, "I have a feeling she’s going to be a little princess, destined to be doted on with a thousand favors. So..." she looked at Luo Xiaoqian with a smile, "you must give me a Prince Charming, and not let my little princess be less favored!"
