"If I could take your place for this matter, I would do it without hesitation!" Cradling her small face, his voice was incredibly gentle, "Xiao Qian, don’t be scared, I will take good care of you and the baby."

The look in his eyes eased the tension in her heart substantially. "Zimo, do you like children?" she asked.

Leng Zimo was honest and direct, "If you’re the one giving birth, then I like them."

Feeling the full measure of his doting tone, Luo Xiaoqian finally laughed again, "Then I’ll give birth."

"Good girl!" Leng Zimo adjusted her seatbelt for her, "Sit tight."

Once he had made her comfortable, he sat back up straight, started the car.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"Of course, to the hospital." Leng Zimo smiled as he steered the car onto the road, "First, we need to confirm whether you are truly pregnant or not."

After all, this was merely conjecture by the two of them. Although Luo Xiaoqian’s symptoms were very much like those of pregnancy, things had to be confirmed by a doctor before they could be sure.

He drove forward, and upon spotting Meiyin Love Maternity Hospital by the roadside, Leng Zimo immediately turned into it, stopping in front of the hospital entrance. Luo Xiaoqian had just unbuckled her seatbelt when he quickly came around, opened her car door, and held her arm.

"Be careful," he warned.

The two walked together into the hospital corridor, and since it was already late at night, there were no patients in the hall, and no one behind the reception desk.
