A black Audi was parked not far away, and Tang Ming patted Xu Pei’s shoulder with a smile, "I should have spent more time with you today, but there is an urgent matter at the company. "Okay!" She smiled at him, Xu Pei turned her face to look at the Emperor View Building not far off, opened the car door and got out, waved to Tang Ming inside the car, took a deep breath, and strode towards the Emperor View Building.

Watching her figure disappear into the crowd on the street, Tang Ming raised his hand to push up his glasses and glanced through the car window at the Emperor View Building, slowly retracting his gaze.

The black Audi quickly merged back into the flow of traffic.

Entering the Emperor View Building, Xu Pei went straight to the elevator and arrived at the 36th floor, where her office was located.

Just as she approached her office, passing by the water room, she faintly heard her name mentioned. Subconsciously, she lightened her footsteps and retraced her steps to the doorway of the water room.

"No way, President Leng hit someone?"

"You guys are out of the loop, I heard that Director Xu seemed to be targeting Miss Luo. I also heard that the mole in this plagiarism incident might just have been found!"

A few staff members, while waiting for their coffee, casually chatted, unaware that Xu Pei was standing just outside the water room.

"This, I don’t know. They only said they wanted to ask you some questions. They are waiting in the reception room now. Why don’t you go and see for yourself?" Tian Yu answered.

"Alright, pour two cups of tea for me." Xu Pei couldn’t be bothered with those gossipy employees anymore and walked to the reception room with some trepidation.

As Xu Pei strode away, the people in the water room listened to her footsteps fading before letting out sighs of relief.

"She was actually eavesdropping on us talking, so sneaky. It looks like we have to be careful even when speaking from now on!"

"Yeah, this woman is really cunning."

Seeing Tian Yu enter, several women immediately crowded around her.

"What are the police here for? Are they investigating Xu Pei?"

"It’s definitely because of that plagiarism incident, right?"
