The car left the city behind, heading straight for the lakeside villa. Leng Zimo had previously purchased a house here, and later, when Xu Pei heard about it, she bought a home in the same neighborhood. Therefore, he didn’t call her but went directly to the villa complex.

The pair stopped the car outside Xu Pei’s door but saw no lights on in the villa.

"She’s probably asleep. Otherwise, shall we deal with it tomorrow morning?" Luo Xiaoqian got out of the car and looked at the dark windows of the villa.

Leng Zimo didn’t think much of it and got back in the car, taking her to his own villa in the same community to rest.
