As the car left the hospital, Luo Xiaoqian’s phone rang once again, still from an unknown number.

She took the keys and stepped out of the car.

"Just like that, you’re leaving?" Leng Zimo said in a deep voice behind her.

Rolling her eyes behind his back with a supremely disdainful expression, Luo Xiaoqian turned back around with a face of feigned obedience. Kneeling on the car seat, she placed one hand on his shoulder and gently kissed his face. Then she hopped out of the car and closed the door.

"Drive slowly, be careful on the road!" she said, stepping aside and bowing like a valet at a hotel entrance.

Leng Zimo glanced at her and started the car.

"Big bad wolf! Try to eat me, and see how my Shadowless Kick will burst your chrysanthemum!"

Watching him drive away, Luo Xiaoqian immediately stuck out her tongue and made a face, then kicked out in his direction for good measure.

Seeing her actions in the rearview mirror, Leng Zimo’s eyebrows twitched, but a light smile spread across his lips.

The girl was still in the mood for pranks behind his back, indicating her energy and mood were good.

He pressed down on the accelerator, driving out of the community and then hitting the car’s phone to dial Ailin’s number.

"Get everyone ready, I’ll be at the conference room within an hour!"

Monday’s strategy plan must be sent to the company in the United States for confirmation, so tonight, the movie’s plan must be finished no matter what.

That evening, Leng Zimo worked overtime all night and sent her a message not to wait for him.

The next day, Luo Xiaoqian got up early, walked twenty minutes to the nearby bus station, and took the bus to Emperor View.
