Chapter 222: Missed something important
Chapter 222: Missed something important
"Nina, get some proper rest tonight. The bonding can wait."
Nina glanced at his powerful, imposing frame, then nodded. "Alright. I’ll sleep with the babies tonight. Mino and Odian can stay with me."
These males...in certain aspects, they were overwhelmingly strong.
It wouldn’t be fair to make him wait too long. And Dian was still after him in line.
Aviel’s eyes lit up. "Alright."
Mino was equally delighted. It had been days since he last slept beside her.
The other mates were reluctant to leave. "Rest well, Nina. Our rooms are right next door. Call us if you need anything."
Odian raised a brow. "That’s enough. We’ll take care of her. Stop lingering and let her sleep."
Sal and the others shot him silent looks of annoyance before turning back to Nina.
"Alright," she said with a soft smile.
As Sal returned to his room, his gaze flicked toward Yanai’s room across the way.
After a moment’s hesitation, he turned and went to find him.
Yanai opened the door and saw them. "What do you want?"
Yanai glanced at them before stepping aside to let them in.
"We want to know...did you go to Sin Beast City about half a year ago? Did anything happen there?" Sal asked.
Why were they asking this?
But she had already admitted she lied. Then why bring this up again?
He had no intention of letting them know.
"I’m sure," Yanai replied calmly. "Why would I go there?"
Good.
One less rival to deal with.
The mountains suit you better.
You just missed Nina.
That’s where Nina was.
This wolf really had no idea what he had missed.
Yanai frowned slightly as he watched them.
Why did it feel like they were relieved that he hadn’t gone to Sin Beast City?
Impatient, Yanai said, "Are you done asking? If you are, leave. I’m going to sleep."
At least he would be sleeping very well tonight.
Aviel gave Yanai’s shoulder another pat before leaving in high spirits.
Yanai stood there, staring at the closed door, a strange sense of loss settling in his chest.

Nina was having breakfast while Sal handed her a peeled egg. "Nina, I asked Yanai last night. He said he didn’t go to Sin Beast City half a year ago."
Had he gone and asked directly?
She nodded. "Alright."
So it really wasn’t him.
Hearing that Nina had arrived, Zena quickly came out to greet her.
She led Nina into the hall and brought out the map she had stayed up all night to draw.
She pointed to different shapes as she explained, "The houses follow what you showed me yesterday. This represents underground, and these are the rooms below..."
Nina lowered her head, listening carefully as she studied the map.
Zena had done an excellent job. It was detailed, clear, and intuitive.
"Zena, this is really well done. Thank you," Nina said sincerely.
Nina actually praised her...
"That’s good." Zena smiled, relieved.
Nina nodded. "No problem. I’ll let them know."
"Alright. I’ll take this back and discuss the plan with my mates. I’ll contact you later."
"See you later."
With a small wave, Nina left.

Meanwhile, Aviel was in the kitchen preparing snacks for her.
