Zoe listened, tears streaming down her face, not knowing if it was out of heartache for Ryker or because Mrs. Watt was taking her side without asking the reasons.
"Alright, Auntie, I’ll go with you! I’ll head to your place right now!"
Mrs. Watt became a weeping mess of gratitude: "Thank you for your trouble!"
Zoe didn’t feel it was trouble. If Ryker really went to dig coal because of her, then she had the responsibility to bring him back.
