Chapter 713: Completely Ruthless
Chapter 713: Completely Ruthless
"I had eyes but failed to recognize Mount Tai! Please show mercy!""Haven’t you done this kind of thing a lot before?"
Natalie Niles withdrew her foot and said indifferently, "Go to the police station and turn yourself in, otherwise I’ll beat you every time I see you."
She turned and left, leaving the gang of hooligans looking at each other in dismay.
Turn themselves in?
Wouldn’t that mean getting sentenced?
They had committed quite a few misdeeds before.
"Boss, what should we do?"
"What do you mean, what to do? Of course, go home and sleep! Have you all been beaten senseless? Do you really want to turn yourselves in?"
"It’s mainly because she’s too frightening!"
The hooligans helped each other walk home miserably, but before they reached their destination, they were surrounded by police cars with flashing lights.
The tall, thin man nearly cried out loud, "Damn it, who on earth is that woman? Should’ve just turned ourselves in earlier!"
Natalie Niles walked down the street alone. She had already foreseen what would happen, but she didn’t care.
She went to Connor’s villa, packed a few of his clothes and shoes into a suitcase, and was about to leave after turning off the lights when she heard rustling sounds outside.
Standing silently in the darkness, she waited for a few minutes before spotting a figure sneaking in, rummaging through things.
Natalie approached him and suddenly kicked him, knocking him to the floor with a few swift kicks as he cried out in pain.
The lights came on, and a familiar face appeared in her sight.
"Zack Ginger?"
"You lunatic! Why are you hitting people again!"
Zack struggled to get off the floor, shouting aggressively, but his eyes were filled with an unparalleled fear.
"Coming to my house in the middle of the night to steal things, aren’t you courting death?"
"I didn’t! I just came to take a look! This isn’t your house but the house of the bodyguard!"
Natalie naturally didn’t believe him. "You saw that the house had been empty for two days and got some nasty ideas, right?"
Old habits die hard, Zack had a history of theft before.
It seemed that sending his sister to Peter Barnes had brought him no gain, so he came to Connor’s place to steal.
Anyway, Connor is easygoing. Considering Cora Ginger, even if he found out about the theft, at most, he would give Zack a scolding and wouldn’t send him to jail.
Luckily, she came by once more before leaving; otherwise, wouldn’t Connor’s home be emptied by this repulsive person?
She glanced at Zack, picked up the suitcase, and walked straight out the door, surprisingly not driving him away.
Zack sat in the villa in confusion for a long while, reality dawning only when he realized that Natalie had indeed left without concerning herself with him. Delighted, he started looting the villa’s valuables.
The drawer surprisingly held loads of cash! Take it!
Inside the cabinet, there was a heavy gold bar! Take it!
The clothes were nice; he decided to take those too!
The vase looked like it was worth something. Take it!
Why did even the ashtray here appear to be glittering with gold? Who cares, just take it all!
As Zack gleefully stuffed things into a canvas bag, something felt off. Turning around, he broke out in a cold sweat!
Several police officers were standing silently outside the door, staring intently at him!
"Misunderstanding, officers! Hear me out!"
Nobody listened as two officers moved in and cuffed him; caught red-handed, there was no escape from a prison sentence.
Zack struggled while cursing, "Natalie Niles, you set me up! Black-hearted to the core! You’ll come to no good end!"
