Chapter 682: Ruthless and Resolute

Chapter 682: Ruthless and Resolute

He lowered his voice: "Don’t lie to me either.""Oh."

Natalie Niles replied, her tone rather nonchalant.

Connor sighed: "It’s pointless to tell you, you’ll still lie to me, so it’s better to break up. Once you’re well, leave my house, and it would be best if you leave A City, so I won’t see you again."

Natalie hurriedly said: "I won’t lie to you anymore!"

She was a bit flustered; Connor’s attitude was completely different from before!

She sensed he had truly decided to give up on her!

Connor picked her up, carried her to the living room, and placed her on the sofa: "Sit still, I’ll handle the kitchen."

His expression wasn’t cold; he still carried a gentle and soft demeanor, as if nothing had happened, yet Natalie could feel his detachment.

As Connor entered the kitchen, she followed him, hugged him from behind, and pressed her face to his back, remaining silent for a long time.

"Put on your shoes."

"No."

"The tiles are cold."

"Not as cold as you."

He seemed gentle and agreeable, but once you angered him, he firmly kept you out of his heart.

He used to treat Cora Ginger well too, but once he decided to let go, he never allowed her to invade his heart again; he could give her money, continue helping, speak gently with her, but that was just his good nature, not because he still loved her.

Natalie saw all this clearly, and now Connor was gradually showing the same tendency toward her.

Tears fell from her eyes as she cried on Connor’s back: "I won’t break up! If you dare to break up with me, I’ll go ruin things with Harry Hunter! You choose, break up with me, or let me break up Harry Hunter and Isabella Weaver!"

Connor stiffened.

He really couldn’t compete with her, so ruthless, so resolute, so clever!

He pried her hands away, turned around, and embraced her: "Stop crying, I didn’t know you’d shed tears over something like this, do you really like me?"

Natalie suddenly became angry, cursing: "Emmett Price, are you a bastard? Would I sleep with you if I didn’t like you? What do you take me for? Do your muscles grow but not your brain? Idiot! Moron!"

Connor listened to her cursing for a while, and once she vented, he gently asked: "So, you really like me?"

"No! I’d have to be crazy to like you! No one likes you, stop dreaming!"

"If you don’t like me, why did you cry when I mentioned breaking up? You absolutely refused."

"I agree! We’ll break up! Right now! After that, I’ll go stir up trouble at Harry Hunter’s place, and break up him and Isabella Weaver!"

Connor’s face darkened: "No, behave!"

Natalie remained silent with a cold face, but she didn’t push him away.

She didn’t want to threaten him, but if he insisted on breaking up, she had no choice but to show her bad side.

Connor wiped the tears off her face: "Then let’s buy couple watches. I want to wear the same one as you."

"No! Not interested!"

"Be good, I just said the wrong thing, I know you like me. I just feel like you don’t like me enough. Feel my heart, see how crazily I like you."

Natalie didn’t feel his heart; she already knew.

She looked up: "Then I want the most expensive couple watches..."

Connor’s heart pounded like a drum: "Okay, I’ll buy them."
