Chapter 652: Who Took Off the Clothes?
Chapter 652: Who Took Off the Clothes?
The three of them arrived downstairs at Johan Niles’ home. Lucas Chambers carried Johan Niles upstairs, while the little soldier drove away with a gossiping look on his face.Johan Niles was so drunk that he insisted on taking a shower.
But Lucas Chambers waited outside for a long time without seeing him come out, so he had no choice but to go in and check on him, only to find him asleep in the bathroom.
Lucas Chambers couldn’t help but shake his head. If he hadn’t come along today, would Johan Niles have slept in the bathroom all night? Wouldn’t he get sick by tomorrow?
He picked Johan up and placed him on the bed, covered him with a blanket, turned off the lights, and went to the living room himself to make phone calls, assigning tasks to his subordinates and reporting to his superiors.
A night passed by, and Johan Niles woke up the next day with a splitting headache. He looked at the alarm clock; it was already ten in the morning!
He looked at himself and found himself lying in bed stark naked!
Oh no!
What did he do last night?
He never sleeps naked!
Who took off his clothes?
Lucas Chambers?
Johan Niles felt like crying but had no tears, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember what happened last night. He just remembered being quite happy.
Oh right! Lucas Chambers!
Where is he?
Johan Niles shouted "Lucas Chambers" loudly while hurriedly getting dressed, then searched the entire house but still couldn’t find Lucas Chambers.
He quickly called Connor: "Lucas Chambers is missing! Could he have..."
Connor interrupted him before he could say more: "He came over to my place early this morning, checked to make sure your sister wasn’t here, and then left. Seriously, Natalie could never be with me!"
Johan Niles quickly realized that Connor must have hidden his sister well.
"Then where is Lucas Chambers?"
"Off to beat someone up."
Johan Niles was quite helpless: "You guys really are good brothers, having such similar interests; you both like to beat people up."
"Are you free for lunch? If you have nothing going on, come over to my place for a meal."
Johan Niles cautiously asked, "Is that alright?"
"Of course!"
Johan Niles was relieved, drove to the hospital to pick up various medications, packed them into a medical kit, and then headed to Connor’s place.
As soon as he entered the living room, he hurriedly closed the door, lowered his voice like a member of the underground resistance, and asked, "C, is B here? How’s the situation? Is it safe?"
Connor almost burst out laughing: "Agent X, you seem quite professional."
Johan Niles, seeing that he didn’t even bother to lower his voice, couldn’t help but punch him: "You should have told me it was safe here earlier! You almost scared me to death!"
The force of Johan’s punch on Connor felt just like a tickle. He didn’t dodge, and with a smile, he led the way: "Your sister is here. I have a basement here that can be used as a hideout. Lucas Chambers came and had a look but couldn’t find anyone, so he left assuredly."
"Is this guy a good person or a bad one? Why is he so determined to take my sister away?"
"He’s definitely a good guy. He took Natalie away because it was a task assigned by his superiors, and he had no choice but to do it."
Connor’s expression turned serious: "Let’s just keep her hidden for now. I asked Natalie, and she said she doesn’t want to go back, she’d rather die."
Johan Niles fell silent too. He once thought his sister really liked the military, liked it so much she hadn’t been home in three years.
Turns out it wasn’t like that.
He followed Connor into the villa’s basement, which was originally intended to be a wine cellar when the villa was built, but Connor didn’t store wine here; it was filled with some odds and ends.
"Where is she?"
"There’s another level."
Connor pressed a switch, and the basement floor slowly opened, revealing a staircase leading down to another level.
