In the small guest room, Connor brought a basin of hot water, wrung a hot towel, and gently wiped Natalie Niles’ face and hands.Johan Niles had stripped her down to a small camisole and panties in order to examine her injuries.

Connor turned to look at her, "She’s mine from now on; of course, I have to care for her."
"Not bad! Good choice! My Sister Natalie is the most incredible woman; you deserve her!"
Connor was infected by her joyous mood, feeling much more relaxed, and chatted with her, "You’ve always been with Natalie? Did you follow her on this mission too?"
"Yes, I’m Sister Natalie’s right-hand! She loves to take me wherever she goes because I’m smart and obedient; she really likes me!"
"How old are you?"
"I’m twenty-two."
"Why do I feel like you’re not even an adult?"
Ruth leaned her heavily made-up face forward, "I am an adult! I’m twenty-two! What kind of eyes do you have?"
Heavy makeup can hide a person’s true age; combined with her mature speech and actions, she often misled people.

"I’ve seen your file from my young master; you’re only seventeen this year."
Ruth was shocked, "Is your young master that terrifying? How can he dig up everything? Wasn’t my identity wiped?"
