This made Rose Parker and Ella Weaver cry together!
It was the first time the two of them were scolded so badly, before it was always Isabella Weaver who got scolded and beaten, they happily watched the show, ever since Isabella got married, the family dynamics shifted drastically, their days grew increasingly difficult.
Christopher Weaver finished his rant, vented his anger, and turned to leave.
Ella Weaver looked at Rose Parker in terror, "Mom, I don’t want to get married!"
Rose Parker wiped her tears and stood up, "Don’t worry, we still have your uncle, I’ll go find your uncle now!"
She washed her face, redid her makeup and hair, then only when she couldn’t see traces of crying in the mirror, she went next door.
Ryan Parker wasn’t home, only Reese Renfrew was at home.
Her eyes were bloodshot, hair disheveled, and hadn’t changed clothes, upon seeing Rose Parker, a flash of disgust appeared in her eyes.
"Sister-in-law, where is my brother? Did he go to the company? When will he be back?"
"He did!"
Reese Renfrew responded dismissively and then urged her away: "Alexander was just brought back by a friend from the hospital, I’m busy with hosting now, won’t keep you."
"Alexander is ill again? Let me go see him!"
"No need!"
Reese Renfrew’s tone was somewhat cold: "There’s nothing to see, you should hurry home!"
Her blatant and obvious intention to send her away made Rose Parker embarrassed, she stomped and turned to leave!
Reese Renfrew watched her leave, unable to hide her disgust. It was Rose Parker and Ella Weaver’s crooked intents that insisted on matching up Alexander Parker and Isabella Weaver, leading her son to be bewitched by that vixen! Hurt so badly!
She cursed inwardly for a while, then carried a plate of fruits upstairs into her son’s room.
In the room, Alexander Parker was lying on the bed receiving an IV, beside him sat a handsome man that even women would envy.
Unfortunately, this man’s face had quite a few bruises, ruining much of the aesthetic.
"Austin, have some fruit! I must thank you for bringing Alexander back, I was almost frantic when I couldn’t find him last night, this child never stops worrying me."
Austin Winters had changed his clothes, tidied himself up neatly.
He gracefully rose, took the fruit plate, his face bearing a gentle smile, soft as a spring breeze, "Aunt, you’re too kind, Alexander is my good friend, it’s only right to bring him back. Alexander is the smartest person I’ve ever met, I believe he’ll only mature more in the future, rest assured."
Reese Renfrew was simply thrilled to hear it!
She loved hearing others praise her son!
And her son has friends!
Such a great joy, her son finally isn’t just revolving around Isabella Weaver that fox spirit!
But before she could praise Austin Winters a few words, a cold voice sounded: "Who said we’re friends? Get out!"
Reese Renfrew, delighted, looked at her son, "Alexander, you’re awake? Are you feeling unwell anywhere? Do you need Director Valley to come check you?"
"Seeing this guy makes me uncomfortable everywhere!"
"Oh dear, you must be nice, your friend brought you back, you must thank them properly!"
