"He didn’t come back to the villa yesterday, but that doesn’t mean he won’t today. I’m going to the villa now to see if he’s there. You know his social circle better, help me ask his friends if he’s staying at any of their places."

Ji Weitian hung up the phone and hailed a cab to the Qin Family Villa.

She didn’t call the butler directly because she was worried that Qin Nanyu might be annoyed with her and intentionally have the butler say he wasn’t there.

Anyway, since Qin Nanyu didn’t come to her place, the most likely place he would be is at his own villa.

She wanted to check it out for herself.

Leng Jian’s eyes flickered, snapped out of his surprise, and he turned to the kitchen to pour her a glass of water.

As she reached out to take the glass, he deliberately pulled his arm back a bit, "Why did you suddenly come to see me?"

Zhang Lingying: "I’m on vacation and thought I’d come chase you!"
