"...Yes, delicious," Ji Weitian stuttered out, her mind a total blank.

All she had done was sneak to the cafeteria during her break to quietly enjoy a bowl of rice noodles. Never had she expected to encounter Qin Nanyu.

Even more unexpected was that Qin Nanyu would come over with a whole group of people and then seriously ask her in front of a bunch of juniors whether the noodles were good...

Just as she hesitated, wondering whether to get Qin Nanyu a pair of clean chopsticks to try them himself, Qin Nanyu had already pulled out the chair opposite her and sat down.

He did not look at the rice noodles in front of her, but stared intently at her with a playful smirk on his lips.

"Are they as tasty as me?"

The cafeteria erupted in a collective gasp.

Ji Weitian gripped her chopsticks, trying to calm her nerves.

It was just eating noodles.

She’d finish them and then could leave, and whatever Qin Nanyu had just said could be disregarded as nonsense.

It seemed nobody really heard what he said.

That must be it.

Ji Weitian forced herself to relax and took a bite of noodles.

The steaming noodles, with the sour beans, were quite appetizing.

A food lover at heart, she was easily contented.

"..." Ji Weitian paused in her eating, her smile freezing.

She eyed him warily, fearful he would throw out another line like "Is it as good as me?"

"This time, I’ll try it," Qin Nanyu didn’t just talk about taking advantage but physically did so.

He unexpectedly took her chopsticks, pulled the bowl towards him, not minding that she had already eaten from it, and immediately tasted a bite.

He naturally looked up, "The auntie in the cafeteria has improved her skills, it really is delicious."

Having said that, he bent down and continued eating the noodles.
