Chapter 621: That’s Exactly the Idea!

Chapter 621: That’s Exactly the Idea!

Less than a minute later, he asked again, "He’s not really going to die, is he?"

"Really, he won’t. Mommy promises you," Ji Weitian said as she saw that he seemed genuinely worried about Qin Nanyu and reached out to pick him up.

Just as she was about to comfort him, the little guy cut in front of her, "I don’t care about him."

Then he haughtily turned his little head away.

The father and son were equally sulky. It was exactly the same.

He had been haughty for less than thirty seconds before he couldn’t help but look up at Ji Weitian again, "He never gets sick. Is he really not going to die?"

"Trouble lasts a thousand years, really, he won’t." Ji Weitian was just short of raising her hand to swear.

Just when she thought she had dealt with her son, there was a daughter, obsessed with her dad, waiting for her—

"Mommy, why would my handsome dad get sick? Did you bully dad again?"

"It’s definitely because you wouldn’t let Dad sleep with you. Dad got sick from being upset!"

"Can you sleep with my handsome dad tonight?"

"..."

Qin Nanyu wasn’t sick, but Ji Weitian felt she was truly going to get sick from this.

Is this even something a daughter would say?

It wasn’t her fault Qin Nanyu was sick. How did it become her problem?

Ji Weitian chose to remain silent.

She had originally planned to bring the two little ones to Qin Nanyu to let them see his condition for themselves and perhaps understand how unjustly blamed she was.

As it turned out, they did see Qin Nanyu, each sticking by his side, asking what had happened to his face.

Yaoyao was worried about Daddy; Ruirui was simply relieved that Qin Nanyu wasn’t dying and took the chance to mock how ugly he looked now...

Eventually, Qin Nanyu, out of anger, chased them out of the room.

Only his little princess was left, constantly acting pitiful in front of Yaoyao, easily swaying her without a second word, holding Ji Weitian’s hand, pleading earnestly with a chubby face,

"Daddy got hurt and needs someone to care for him. Mommy, can you help me take care of Daddy?"

"Why should I take care of him? I didn’t cause his injuries," Ji Weitian resisted wholeheartedly.

In her eyes, Qin Nanyu was a big bad wolf.

He was hurt, and she had already given up her room; what else did they expect from her?

Could it be to stay and share a bed with him, offering close care?

Ji Weitian couldn’t believe that her beloved daughter she had raised with her own hand was plotting this!

"Grandpa and Grandma have to run their shop; they definitely don’t have time. I’m too young to take care of Daddy, so Mommy is the best choice," Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling analyzed logically.

"I also have my job; I’m very busy. I need to earn money to support you and your brother. Now I might even have to pay for your dad’s medical expenses." Ji Weitian argued strongly, refusing to agree no matter what.

Who knew that the normally stingy Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling, who usually only urged her to make money, listened to her words today and shockingly pulled out a bank card from his pocket, slammed it onto the bedside table, and declared dominantly,

"I have money. I can support Mommy and brother and even pay for Daddy’s medical expenses!"

Ji Weitian: "..."

She felt she was no longer the favorite.

Since meeting Qin Nanyu, her daughter’s favorite person was no longer her.

Ji Weitant was full of protests but didn’t get a chance to voice them out as Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling, having achieved his goal, joyfully trotted out of the room.

At the doorway, he even thoughtfully closed the door behind them.

Leaving in the room, a bewildered Ji Weitian and the predatory Qin Nanyu standing behind her—
