Chapter 503: Just Sign It!

Ji Weitian struggled a few times, but was fundamentally unable to break free from Qin Nanyu’s grasp. She could only watch, wide-eyed, as he carried her into the study and dumped her into a chair.

Second, she had to guarantee that she absolutely wouldn’t let Lu Jing be Yaoyao’s dad.

Third, she had to guarantee that she wouldn’t meet Lu Jing behind his back in the future.

"You yourself said you have nothing to do with Lu Jing. I don’t believe you unless you sign this guarantee letter," Qin Nanyu met her gaze without a hint of feeling his actions were childish. He even unscrewed the pen cap for her and handed it over.

"Can I choose not to sign?" Ji Weitian recoiled slightly, her back against the chair, and glanced at the guarantee letter in front of her again.

She was no longer a child who had to write a self-criticism for her wrongdoings.

Moreover, she genuinely had nothing to do with Lu Jing. She had done nothing wrong—merely omitted a word, so why was he holding a grudge?

"Do you like Lu Jing?" Qin Nanyu asked, his dark eyes slightly sunken upon seeing her unwillingness to sign.

Complex light swirled at the bottom of his eyes.

That sensation of dark clouds looming was extremely chilling.

"Will you meet him privately?"

She had thought that by catering to Qin Nanyu’s wishes, at least he might have calmed down by now.

Yet, the next second, he darkened his face and spoke sharply, "Then why don’t you dare to sign a single guarantee letter?"

He seized her hand holding the pen and pressed it onto the signature line, guiding her hand to write her name stroke by stroke.

When he let go of her hand, Ji Weitian suddenly realized she had no clue what the second page of the guarantee letter even stipulated!
