Chapter 474: Fire Prevention, Theft Prevention, and Hooligan Prevention

Qin Nanyu’s dark eyes narrowed, and a cold smile curled his lips as he replied to his assistant, "It’s not one hundred and eight calls now, it’s one hundred and nine."

He instructed his assistant to first investigate the matter he wanted to know about, then picked up He Feichen’s call.

Before he could even speak, He Feichen’s wails were already transmitting through the phone.

"We’ve been brothers for years, to just use me and throw me away, are you even human?"

"I’ve used you?" Qin Nanyu’s brows furrowed with as much disdain as his tone could carry.

He Feichen: "..."

How was he supposed to answer that question?

To say he hadn’t been used, was clearly a lie, as he had just taken a fall for Qin Nanyu over Leng Jian’s matter.

To say he had been used, why did that phrase sound so dirty coming out of his mouth?

He Feichen was momentarily speechless.

The person who had been bothering Assistant Song all day was suddenly silenced by Qin Nanyu’s words, and he couldn’t come up with a response, resorting to whining pitifully.

"I don’t care, if you don’t tell me Lili’s flight information today, I’ll... I’ll... just camp out at your assistant’s and not leave!"

"Tomorrow morning, nine o’clock, T City International Airport, UA7315 flight," Qin Nanyu spoke crisply.

Hearing his words, He Feichen was clearly stunned, as if he couldn’t believe that Qin Nanyu was being human.

Just as he was about to send a kiss through the phone and hang up, he heard Qin Nanyu slowly add, "Leave early tomorrow, come to the villa to pick me up first, I’ll go with you to the airport to meet her."

"Is Lili dealing with some big deal on this business trip? Why would it require the CEO of a group to personally pick her up from the airport? You wouldn’t be harboring any improper intentions towards my Lili, would you?"

He Feichen was about to throw a tantrum when Qin Nanyu calmly reminded him.

"Do you really think that just because you constantly refer to her as ’my Lili’, that Kali really becomes yours? As far as I know, Kali voluntarily requested to go on this business trip precisely to avoid your entanglement. If I don’t go, even if you cry, make a scene, or threaten to hang yourself at the airport tomorrow, she might not even give you a second glance. Whether you want to pick me up or not is up to you."

"Pick up! As long as you’re not competing with me for Lili, tomorrow I am your full-time driver!" He Feichen blurted out without a second thought.

After speaking, he felt something was off and spoke up belatedly.

"Why are you suddenly so kind today? Is this really the Qin Nanyu I know, or am I just being paranoid that you’re plotting something against me..."

His question went unanswered as Qin Nanyu had already hung up.

He closed his laptop and went downstairs to find Ji Weitian.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, he discovered that Ji Weitian had already taken the two kids to bed, and the door to the room was double-locked.

According to the butler, she said this was to prevent fire, theft, and ruffians.

Qin Nanyu adamantly denied her reference to ruffians had anything to do with him and, in the face of the butler’s sympathetic gaze, stubbornly praised Ji Weitian’s safety consciousness.

He then turned and went back to his own room.

Early the next morning.

Before the sky had even lightened, He Feichen’s car was already parked outside the gate of the Qin Family Villa. He tossed the car keys to the gatekeeper, asking him to help park the car while he strode into the villa.

Seeing the butler who had just woken up in the living room, he asked where Qin Nanyu was sleeping.

Learning that he was still in the master bedroom, he hurried upstairs.

Without knocking, he pushed open the bedroom door.

"Young Master He, my young master is still resting, you can’t go in..."

The butler’s attempt to stop him was too late.

By the time he reached the doorway, He Feichen was already squatting beside Qin Nanyu’s bed like a large dog, almost wagging his tail calling him to wake up.
