Ji Weitian just walked up to them and couldn’t make out what the little fellow was saying, when Qin Nanyu already pulled her away from the front of his son.

"Qin Nanyu, Ruirui and Yaoyao are still behind!" Ji Weitian, dumbfounded, turned her head to meet Qin Nanyu’s gaze, only to see him calmly smirking, not the least bit worried about the two four-year-olds getting lost.

"If Qin Morui could lose his sister, he wouldn’t need to come back."

With Ji Weitian’s adoptive parents around, they didn’t need to worry about who would cook.

The elderly couple hadn’t been this happy in a long time. Seeing Qin Nanyu bringing Ruirui to visit, they closed their snack shop early and went home to cook for them.

Ji Weitian tensed up and hurriedly jumped in before Qin Nanyu could respond, "Mom, don’t talk while eating. Let’s talk after we finish!"
