Chapter 1954 - 7: Shocking! Archduke Nanling’s Childhood Actually...

The plan for the Fiery Flame Land was devised by Ian.

The doubts of his friends earlier were actually considered by Ian long ago. Even if he truly has the strength to defeat other Fifth Energy Levels one-on-one, at most he could only conquer one force, or in other words, conquer a region ruled by a malevolent Fifth Energy Level.

Any more than that would be impossible, for other Fifth Energy Level powers would become wary of his strength and unite against him.

By that time, unless Ian possessed the absolute power to contend against the Whole Terra single-handedly, he would be stuck in a war of attrition, trying to outlast this group of old monsters.

But that would take far too long, and neither Terra nor Ian wants to wait.

Therefore, he was prepared with a two-pronged strategy from the very start.

Firstly, for the Nemasis Bloodline, Ian planned to use Ace Nemasys to create chaos. This greatly persuasive succubus, although just a pawn, could still play a sly part. Ian would enhance his power using the Heart of Terra and the Supreme Spirit Arms to reach a level capable of matching the Sovereign of Radiant Light, so that he could incite unrest in the Yuguang Land and promote the policies of the Silverpeak Domain, maximizing the awareness of the people of the Fiery Flame Land about his camp’s benefits.

The Pupationer has no reason to intervene in this rebellion against authority, as it’s a tradition of the Fiery Flame Land. Even if he wanted to break tradition and act, he would be stalled by the ’helpers’ Ian invited.

Ian’s true target, however, was his neighbor.

Adjacent to the Bison Mountain Range, Ian was determined to crush and conquer the bloodline of Abassalom.

The current King of Abassalom, Gracinir Abassalom, known as the [Unextinguishable Hellfire] and [Ashen King], is a very low-key individual and his strength seems unimpressive compared to the Nemasis King. However, his power is quite mysterious, showing few characteristics from his titles, thus making him somewhat trickier for Ian to handle.

Yet this is not a significant problem. When Ace incites the rebellion, Ian will act directly, using the pretense of helping Ace reclaim his rightful throne and enacting revenge.

Revenge for the ’Grain Disaster’ and the ’Demon Catastrophe.’

Since the Fiery Flame Land sparked the initial conflict, Ian’s counteractions, although possibly delayed, are definitely justifiable. At least, from the perspective of the victimized South Ridge, which had never engaged in biological warfare or attacked the Fiery Flame Land, whereas they were relentlessly assaulted by the Fiery Flame Land.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Ian will confront and defeat the King of Abassalom head-on — then seize all lands east and west of the Abassalom Mountains, expanding his power to cover the entire Southwest Thera, extinguishing near the Whale Song Cliff, and bordering Nemasis and the City of Knowledge to the north, and extending close to the Far Shore Island at the furthest point.

However, this is not a plan to be executed immediately.

For the time being, Ian’s primary focus remains on the Pioneer Space and the development of his own territory.

In fact, for the past six months, the South Ridge has developed rapidly.

Taking advantage of stability amidst chaos, along with Ian Silverpeak’s ascension to the Fifth Energy Level, providing strong appeal and a sense of security, the entire South Ridge continuously siphons off population from surrounding areas.

Not just the Western Province of the Empire, but even the Eastern Province and some elves from Canaan Moore have heard of the rapid development of the South Ridge, with many traversing mountains and seas to reach the Silverpeak Domain.

They will not be disappointed.

Currently, the South Ridge has achieved complete self-sufficiency in food production. After proving the safety superiority of the agriculture building, it has quickly spread to every corner of the Southern Ridge Area. As long as there is an abundant water source, everything can be automated.

The ’Crystal Tower’ that expands the Heart of Terra’s signal and the avatars of the ’Sylvan Spirit’ can perfectly oversee any crop — tantamount to the dual protection by a Fifth Energy Level divine artifact creation and a Fourth Energy Level plant-based superior sublimation organism. How could anyone be less fortunate?

Were it not for Ian’s instruction that the Sylvan Spirit not excessively pamper these humans and refrain from acting unless there is a biological warfare attack from enemies, with the Sylvan Spirit’s temperament, he would ensure their plentiful harvests year after year, even without their oversight or intervention.

In fact, the superior nutrient solution and closed space cultivation technology of the Silverpeak Domain have already been disseminated back to Canaan Moore. In the World Tree City, which relies on an artificial sun for indoor planting, the technology was relatively primitive and rough. Now, with access to advanced technology, it even caused a decline in grain prices in World Tree City.

This is not even the most crucial matter.

The truly significant event is, in Ian’s first month as Archduke Nanling, when people from all directions streamed in, Ian announced a revolutionary policy for the Terra Continent.

[Abolition of Agricultural Tax]

Ian declared that as long as it is within his domain, planting any of the thirty-nine staple crops specified by the Silverpeak Domain Agriculture Department will not incur any agricultural tax of any kind.

Furthermore, even for other economic crops, ones that are not encouraged but legal, Ian significantly reduced many of the taxes, such as water management tax, weather tax, pest control tax, natural disaster resistance tax, and magical beast repulsion tax... From these tax reductions alone, it is clear that farming in Terra is not an easy task.

This policy is timeless, valid as long as he lives, and even after his death, if any successor wishes to amend it, they must seek approval through a public referendum.
