Chapter 1941 - 3: The Heart Light Body of Yisen Gard

Since January 1st, Terra Year 777, when the victor of the Solar Battle, Ian Silverpeak of the Edge of Perished Sun, returned to the Terra Continent and delivered the Perpetual Engine Declaration, the world began to change.

The most intuitive change is that the once fervent world war has now completely ceased.

To be precise, even before the Solar Battle, the intensity of war across the continent was gradually decreasing.

The conflicts between nations had become routine, partly because countries withdrew significant advanced combat forces to study the Arcane Pathway, and partly due to the wars being fought to a stage where outcomes were clear.

Continuing to fight would require more investment, otherwise, there would be no additional gains.

This laid a good foundation for ceasefire.

As for why to stop the war... the reason is simple.

Because from top to bottom, no one wants to fight anymore.

The strong do not wish to fight, for they do not want to cause deaths—the emergence of the Perpetual Motion Machine makes the victory or defeat in war seem utterly ridiculous. Though everyone presently does not know who the ultimate victor is, it is undeniable that if one does not integrate these future visions into their goals, then, even if they are the strongest Sublimator of their nation, the people might not vote for them.

The entire world went into frenzy due to a single statement by Ian Silverpeak.

Of course, some leaders are uninterested in the Perpetual Motion Machine or believe they cannot win.

However, they dare not continue oppressing their domestic population in the same way.

Why?

Because the world has those strong people capable of competing for ownership of the Perpetual Motion Machine, the rulers of the largest countries, who have long locked their hungry, scarlet eyes on the leaders of all other forces.
