Lady Houtu walked through Biyou Palace, admiring the palace's beauty. She stopped to examine the statue of the Teacher and said, "Even though he was defeated in battle, he was not discouraged. He reincarnated as the Teacher, defeating the Three Pure Ones in the inheritance of Daoist skills—a renowned tale. People say the Three Pure Ones founded the Immortal Dao, but Tongtian Saint also made significant contributions, no less than any of the Three Pure Ones."

Chen Shi also stopped to gaze at the Teacher's statue. He didn't know much about Tongtian Saint, so he asked, "Was the founding of Immortal Dao also related to Tongtian Saint?"

Lady Houtu replied, "At that time, Tongtian Saint was also a Divine Officer in the Great Shang Dynasty, a different role than the Three Pure Ones. I heard they had a good relationship, researched Daoist skills together, and had many insights, calling each other Dao friends. However, their differences grew, and as they became famous and successful, their conflicts increased, leading to a fallout during the Battle of Fashang."

Chen Shi inquired further about Tongtian Saint's past, and Lady Houtu, having lived through that era, spoke truthfully.

"Where did the Teacher and the Three Pure Ones go after leaving the Earth Immortal Realm?" Chen Shi asked.

Lady Houtu didn't know either and shook her head, saying, "They never mentioned it."

Chen Shi followed up, "Has the Lady ever seen the Qing Palace Geographic Map?"

Lady Houtu's heart stirred slightly, and she said, "Do you mean that Qing Palace in the Dark Sea?"

Chen Shi was both surprised and delighted, "Does the Lady know about that Qing Palace?"

Lady Houtu smiled, "I know some legends about it. When we opened the Dark Sea, it wasn't just the Three Pure Ones; there were also ancient deities from our Ancestral Court. We stepped out of the Ancestral Court, surrounded by a vast, boundless darkness. We discovered an abandoned ancient world, chaotic and disorderly."

The Three Pure Ones, along with Emperor, Houtu, Changsheng, Ziwei, Gouchen, the Three Emperors, and the Five Emperors, came to that world, using immense mana to repel darkness, establish a Xuanhuang realm with Immortal Dao, open Hongmeng, dispel the Outer Dao, purge evil, and slay demons.

That world was a shattered one, with countless fragments floating on the Dark Sea, forming small worlds.

These shattered worlds contained strange relics, mysterious, ancient, and bearing a dark aura, unlike Immortal Dao or Divine Dao.

Some world fragments even housed immensely powerful beings, violent by nature, eccentric, difficult to communicate with, and seemingly composed of Outer Dao, evil and aggressive.

They called these beings Great Demons, referring to those inherently of the Demon Path, impossible to communicate with.

Hearing this, Chen Shi was surprised, "Great Demons already existed at that time?"

He initially thought Great Demons were born from the Dark Sea Heavenly Dao's resistance against the Immortal Dao invasion after the Three Pure Ones established the Earth Immortal Realm, but their origin was even more ancient.

Lady Houtu smiled enigmatically, "Indeed. The Eight Trigrams Demon Suppression Well in my Dao Hua Palace houses Great Demons left from that time. But strangely, these Great Demons have now vanished. Does the Crown Prince know what happened?"

During this period, Chen Shi's cultivation advanced rapidly, now close to the Second Layer Dao Realm of the Golden Immortal, thanks to the Demon Blood Treasure Tree refining the Great Demons.

And these Great Demons originated from the Eight Trigrams Demon Suppression Well.

The Three Pure Ones refined the Thirty-three Heavenly Dao Treasures to maintain the Heaven and Earth Great Dao of the Earth Immortal Realm, thereby making Immortal Dao its orthodoxy.

Regarding the irreducible Outer Dao remnants, they amassed them to form the Dao Ruins.

They then developed the world fragments around the Earth Immortal Realm that couldn't be pieced together, purging the Great Demons and forming the Four Great Continents to flatter the Earth Immortal Realm.
