True Master Master laughed, "It was merely lifting a hand. I noticed the True King cultivates the Yin Yang Dao, coincidentally, I am well-versed in this path myself, hence I could lend a hand."

Upon hearing this, Chen Shi was surprised and delighted, feeling he'd met a confidant, "Real Master, you too cultivate the Yin Yang Dao? When I cultivate, often people say one must cultivate to the Pure Yang Realm, with Primordial Spirit Pure Yang and Pure Yang Body, to become Immortal. I took a different path, believing that since there is yin and yang in the world, Pure Yang may not be true cultivation. Thus, I have dedicated myself to the Yin Yang Dao. I always thought I was alone in cultivating this path, never expecting to meet a Real Master!"

True Master Master laughed, "Cultivators who practice the Pure Yang Dao find it easy to achieve Pure Yang, cultivating vigorously and progressing quickly, attaining Dao early. But it is not necessarily the sole true interpretation. It's just a pity that among the Three Realms, very few follow the same lineage as us."

Chen Shi sought his guidance and said, "I have made no progress on the Yin Yang Dao for a long time, and I ask Real Master to teach me."

True Master Master gladly said, "I also have intentions to seek guidance from the Daoist."

The two sat down in the Enlightenment Temple, and Chen Shi unfolded the Yin Yang Dao Field, gradually displaying the Yin Yang Dao Pattern he comprehended. He was just beginning to explore Dao Patterns, and during his current cultivation, he was still transforming his understanding of Daoist Skills into Great Dao Texture to strengthen and solidify his Daoist Field.

Chen Shi said, "In my comprehension of the Yin Yang Great Dao, I have realized Yin Yang Harmony, Yin Yang Transformation, Yin Yang Integration, Yin Yang Mixed Yuan."

He picked up a strand of the Yin Yang Dao Pattern with his fingers, flicked it, and the Dao Pattern fell into the Dao Field, instantly revealing the wonders of Yin Yang Harmony. Yin and yang harmonized, flowed into each other, mutually transformed, and unified harmoniously.

Chen Shi said, "This is the fourth layer I comprehended from the Mixed Yuan Dao Scripture, Yin Yang Mixed Yuan. But reaching this step, I've found it hard to gain further insights."

True Master Master observed closely and praised, "The Yin Yang Great Dao's four layers of realms have all been comprehended by the True King, inspiring me greatly as well. In the realm of the Yin Yang Great Dao, I cannot guide the True King. Just one point, I believe, in the Yin Yang Dao, one must seek Rootless."

Chen Shi was slightly stunned, "Yin Yang Rootless? What does it mean?"

True Master Master slightly moved his thoughts, and his Dao Field unfolded, also a Tai Chi Diagram composed of Yin Yang Qi.

"True King, Harmony, Transformation, Integration, Mixed Yuan, all are Rooted Techniques. Your comprehension of the Yin Yang Great Dao all comes from your observation of yin and yang phenomena in the natural world, and when you observe, you have your own perspective. Having your own perspective means you have a judgment of right and wrong, which makes it rooted, preventing the realization of the true Dao."

True Master Master said, "Yin Yang Rootless is to forget your judgment of right and wrong, to forget your attachment, to achieve Rootless, to attain Dao. True King, empty your spirit, I will guide you in finding the Rootless Technique."

He closed his eyes, guiding Chen Shi's thoughts. Suddenly, Chen Shi felt his spirit emptied, with no thoughts arising, empty and silent.

His Dao Field, his Daoist Skill, seemed as if he had forgotten them all.

His insight into the Yin Yang Great Dao also suddenly seemed forgotten, turning into a blank slate.

He had no thoughts or judgments in his heart, no attachments, and the Yin Yang Qi in his Dao Field also quieted down, uninfluenced by Chen Shi, harmonizing, transforming, integrating, and blending by themselves.

Chen Shi clearly did not impose any thoughts, yet the Yin Yang Qi evolved on its own, differing from the evolutions of when he imposed his thoughts on the Yin Yang Qi in the past.

The Yin Yang Qi automatically displayed its various mysteries, even revealing the transformations of Xuanhuang Qi, allowing him to derive more principles from the Xuanhuang Dao Pattern taught by Emperor Houtu Earth God.
