Chapter 1331 624: Reunion with an Old Friend

More and more cultivators from the Eight Immortals Sect gathered around, along with cultivators from other mountains arriving at this location. Fang Zhanzi replied, "This mountain honors Ancestor Tieguai Li. The ancestor, along with seven other ancestors, are Taiyi Golden Immortals of the Earth Immortal Realm."

Chen Shi spoke solemnly, "I rudely disrupted, so let me offer incense to the ancestor to apologize."

Fang Zhanzi then raised his hand in invitation, leading Chen Shi into the temple. Chen Shi lit incense and offered it to the image of Ancestor Tieguai Li, saying, "Latecomer Chen Shi inadvertently crashed into the Treasure Land. I hope my Daoist brother can forgive me."

The portrait spoke, "I am aware of this matter, no need for excessive courtesy. You have taken too many lives, it's best not to linger."

Fang Zhanzi replied, "All eight of our sect's ancestors are Taiyi Golden Immortals, not easily bullied. Should any rightful owners come asking, we speak truthfully without concealment."

A few days later, the Eight Immortals Sect became bustling again as many subordinates of important figures came, inspecting the traces of the great battle.

This time, the Eight Immortals Sect was also a victim, and not implicated, even though the incoming people all were of greater cultivation than Fang Zhanzi, they showed him respect, adhering consistently to etiquette.
