Chapter 1310 616: Demon Bone in the Well

Chen Shi was lacking some materials for refining treasures and tentatively asked, "Should I take some?"

Feng Huixue descended from the Rainbow Bridge, smiling, "Your Highness, please follow me."

Chen Shi followed her, leaving the River Bridge, passing through Rain Master Lane, went past the Feng Hou Gate, and arrived at Ruzhu Dao Hua Palace on Xuanwu Street.

Inside Dao Hua Palace, there was a well. The Eight Trigrams Dao Patterns on the well's edge were exquisitely carved, vividly depicting the transformations of various Great Daos such as Heaven, Earth, Wind, Thunder, Mountain, Lake, Water, and Fire.

Chen Shi was about to study it closely when Feng Huixue smiled and said, "Your Highness, those are Divine Dao Patterns; even immortals cannot understand them."

Chen Shi was about to divert his gaze when he suddenly paused, feeling that although the Dao Patterns on the well's edge were profound, he could understand a part of their mysteries.

"Could it be that the Heavenly Mechanism Strategy can decipher these eight Divine Dao Patterns?"

He wondered, following Feng Huixue to the well's edge, and asked, "Senior Sister, who left these Eight Trigrams Dao Patterns by the well?"

"I don't know. It was already here when I arrived at the Xuanhuang Sea."

Feng Huixue speculated, "Perhaps it was engraved by the Lady herself during the construction of the Heavenly Palace."

Chen Shi shook his head and said, "It's unlikely to be the Lady. The Lady is an Earth God, and some principles of the Eight Trigrams are not within the domain of the Earth Gods but within the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Gods, which the Lady might not know."

In the Eight Trigrams, the Dao of Earth Gods includes Kun, Gen, Li, Dui, Kan, Water, whereas Qian and Zhen are not part of the Dao of Earth Gods, thus Chen Shi made this guess.

He examined them carefully, concluding that the Dao Patterns on the well's edge were highly profound, showing high attainment in the eight Great Daos.

"I also don't know who left them; it's likely they were left by Heavenly Gods during the construction of the Heavenly Palace."

Feng Huixue had no intention of delving deep into the source of the Eight Trigrams Dao Patterns and smiled, "The well contains Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi. If Your Highness wishes to collect it, you must fish it out using your own mana. In the past, several Buddhas from the Western Heaven came to our Thick Virtue Heavenly Palace seeking Ancestor Qi to refine magical treasures. They had to fish it out themselves based on their abilities."

Chen Shi glanced back at the Eight Trigrams Dao Patterns with suspicion.

His Yin Yang Dao itself originates from the Eight Trigrams, and he deduced the Ghost God Sixty-Four Transformations, creating sixty-four Ghost God Domains. After Harmonization and achieving immortality, Chen Shi also began transforming his understanding of the Eight Trigrams into Immortal Dao Dao Patterns.

But his transformed Immortal Dao Dao Patterns compared to the Divine Dao Patterns on the stone slab by the well were vastly inferior!

The stone slab Dao Patterns evolved the eight Great Daos of Heaven, Earth, Wind, Thunder, Water, Fire, Mountain, and Lake to their utmost, giving Chen Shi the impression that they were no less than the Dao Patterns of the Green Stele of the Daoist Spirit Treasure, and certainly not left by the Heavenly Gods who built the Heavenly Palace.

"Perhaps only the Lady knows who left these Dao Patterns. For now, collecting the Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi is more urgent!"

Standing beside Feng Huixue, Chen Shi leaned to look into the well, and to his surprise, there lay a whole other world!

To his eyes, the Sun, Moon, and Stars in the well were drawing closer; the ground expanding, shocking him: "I'm falling into the well!"

At that moment, his shoulder tightened, stopping his descent abruptly.

Feng Huixue gripped his shoulder, pulling him out of the well, laughing, "The Ancestor Qi in this well is extremely dangerous. When you look into the well, you must be careful. If you fall in, you'll be assimilated by the Ancestor Qi, and it'll be your end. Your Highness, if you wish to observe the Ancestor Qi in the well, use your peripheral vision; otherwise, you'll fall into the world evolved in the well and meet with disaster."

Understanding this, Chen Shi used his peripheral vision to observe the Ancestor Qi in the well and indeed saw the Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi distinctly.

Xuanhuang Qi is a mix of green-black and yellow Qi, but unraveled, distinct and separate. However, Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi is a mixed, chaotic state of green-black and yellow Qi, slowly rotating within the well, faintly emitting Thunder Sounds.

With each emission of Thunder Light, a world naturally formed within the Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi in the well, complete with mountains, the sun and moon, and stars orbiting.

Once Thunder Light extinguishes, that world dissipates and disappears.

"What's inside the well is the Infinite Diagram!"

Chen Shi wished to take a closer look when suddenly his surroundings spun and he was about to fall into the well again!

Feng Huixue quickly reached out, grabbing his shoulder to rescue him back, advising earnestly, "Your Highness, when observing, you mustn't harbor thoughts of detailed inspection. The more you wish to look closely, the easier you fall for it."

Chen Shi expressed gratitude, "Rest assured, Senior Sister, I will be careful."

With lingering fear, he was also somewhat puzzled: "Xuanhuang Qi seems more suitable for evolving the Tai Chi Diagram, so why does the Xuanhuang Ancestor Qi in the well evolve the Infinite Diagram instead?"

The Infinite Diagram directly birthed a world, a great shock to him, covering aspects he'd never explored before in Daoist Skills.

Yet this well is indeed perilous, a slight lapse in attention means falling inside.
