Although Xu Feifei and Liu Wenjie seemed to be in opposition, in the eyes of the other children these details didn't matter; praising Liu Wenjie's skill and wanting to be friends with Xu Feifei weren't mutually exclusive.
They just loved the excitement and wanted the toys.
Yet Liu Wenjie, still jump-roping, was surprised by the influence of that twin-ponytailed little girl from Class Three.
He hadn't expected her to hold sway across all three classes.
After 223 jumps he figured that was enough—far beyond an ordinary child's level—and he could feel his heart pounding.
He stopped the jump rope, planning to rest briefly, warm up his body, and get ready for the teacher's upcoming competition.
The teacher had just said the winner would get a little red heart. Though it looked useless, based on Liu Wenjie's observations during this period, every time the kindergarten held activities these hearts were recorded by the teacher in a small notebook, apparently serving as some sort of assessment standard.
In a world focused on education, since Liu Wenjie had been reborn, he would naturally win from start to finish and become the true winner in life!
Besides, if he didn't win, how could he attract attention and then ruthlessly reject people? The system's wool still had to be sheared.
"Xia Ying, I see you're really close with Liu Wenjie. Tell us secretly—what's the most he's ever jumped? We'll let Xu Feifei know; maybe if she's happy she'll take us to her house to play. I hear it's huge!"
Little Xia Ying saw several classmates come up to ask. She tiptoed in place.
Normally no one ever took the initiative to talk to her; everyone said she was dull. But whenever someone asked her a question, she always answered sincerely.
Only this time she kept her eyes tightly shut and shook her head, unwilling to tell anyone anything about Liu Wenjie: "I don't know..."
The classmates were curious: "What do you mean? Do you really not know, or just don't want to tell us? It's fine—it's not like it's a secret."
Little Xia Ying still shook her head with eyes closed: "I don't know, I really don't know anything."
The classmates glanced at each other, decided Xia Ying was really boring, and left disappointed: "Come on, let's go. If she doesn't want to talk, forget it. She's always like this—so dull."
Seeing them leave, little Xia Ying instead breathed a sigh of relief, hand on her chest.
She looked in the distance at Liu Wenjie warming up, small hands clasped together. Although Xu Feifei had helpers from all three classes, Xia Ying still hoped Liu Wenjie would win.
She muttered to herself: "Older Brother Wenjie, do your best..."
After the kindergarten children finished familiarizing themselves with jump rope, the kindergarten teacher clapped to start the competition—who could jump the most in three minutes?
The top ten from each class would receive a little red heart.
Thus three teachers stood at the front and spoke in unison: "Students, are you all ready?"
Children from all three classes assumed ready positions, very nervous, and answered in unison: "Ready!"
"Three minutes on the clock—three, two, one! Begin!"
As soon as the words fell, the children began a chaotic dance. Some couldn't even manage one jump and immediately tripped; some stumbled along perfunctorily; others started fast but gave up after about ten.
Xu Feifei worked hard at her rope, watching her classmates drop out one by one.
She thought: This bunch is too weak! How can they give up so fast? How are we supposed to beat Liu Wenjie like this?
She glanced toward Class One, where Liu Wenjie was jumping effortlessly at lightning speed. Sweat beaded on her forehead as she urged her classmates: "Come on, it's not even three minutes yet—don't give up so soon! If you win, I'll give you gifts!"
But apart from Xu Feifei, no one planned to push themselves: "Can't do it, Feifei, too tired. We really can't jump much—count on yourself."
"You guys!" Xu Feifei gritted her teeth and jumped frantically, but inside she wondered how she could possibly beat Liu Wenjie on her own. She just had lots of toys at home; she wasn't as skilled as Liu Wenjie.
She couldn't jump that much either!
Under pressure, Xu Feifei managed 240 jumps in three minutes, taking second place in Class Three.
Liu Wenjie, however, jumped over seven hundred times in three minutes, astonishing the children—he seemed like Superman!
The teachers applauded: "Our first place is Liu Wenjie from Class One, with a total of 708 jumps! Everyone clap! This result is truly amazing!"
Thunderous applause erupted.
"He's amazing."
"Yeah, let's go play with him after the competition."
Just minutes earlier everyone had defected to Xu Feifei's side, and now they were defecting to Liu Wenjie.
Panting, Xu Feifei glared at the attention Liu Wenjie was getting, cheeks puffed in anger.
Damn it! Liu Wenjie! I hate you!!!
Little Xia Ying, though not in the top ten, smiled secretly when she saw Liu Wenjie win. As expected, Older Brother Wenjie is the best.
Afterward the kindergarten teachers held relay races, hula hoops, and more.
Liu Wenjie dominated every event, crushing the competition and drawing everyone's attention.
Xu Feifei's cheeks puffed more and more after each event, like a rubber ball.
Why is he so good?!
How can this be—combined, all three classes couldn't beat him?! I can't accept it!
Near lunchtime, the kindergarten teacher announced the final event—rubber-band jumping: "All right, the last event, rubber-band jumping, is for the girls. Boys, cheer from the side, okay? Let's begin!"
Hearing that the final event was girls-only, Xu Feifei thought seizing first place would have to rely on herself—she absolutely couldn't let Liu Wenjie sweep every first place today!
To be fair, Xu Feifei wasn't all show—privileged yet genuinely skilled.
In rubber-band jumping she far outperformed the other girls, decisively taking first across all three classes!
When the teacher called her name—"First place in rubber-band jumping is Xu Feifei from Class Three, everyone clap!"—Xu Feifei nearly jumped for joy.
Triumphantly she scanned the crowd for Liu Wenjie.
That guy had better have seen how awesome I am. To say I'm not worthy of being his friend—impossible!
But after searching for ages she couldn't find him; turning around she spotted Liu Wenjie emerging from the restroom—he'd actually gone to the bathroom during her event!
"This guy... this guy!!" Xu Feifei clenched her fists, face flushed with anger.
After the awards, everyone collected their little red hearts. A bit hungry, Liu Wenjie sat to the side; many girls crowded around him, wanting to talk.
Naturally, he reaped system rewards in droves.
"Liu Wenjie, want to eat lunch together later?"
"Go by yourself. I don't eat with others."

"Liu Wenjie, can you teach me jump rope? You look so cool."
"Thanks for the compliment, but I don't teach—no time."

Little Xia Ying, overhearing everything, thought Older Brother Wenjie was still so fierce; everyone wanted to be his friend, but he hadn't agreed to anyone.
"Everyone, please make way!" Suddenly Xu Feifei walked over beautifully; the crowd parted. Her proud, cute big eyes fixed on Liu Wenjie sitting on a stone, twin ponytails swaying with each step.
She stopped in front of him.
"Liu Wenjie! Did you just go to the bathroom?"
They stared at each other.
Xu Feifei coughed and said proudly, "I mean, did you see me win just now? I got first place!"
Liu Wenjie was puzzled: "So what? I got several first places."
