This startled Poppy Vance, who was sitting across from her, singing her heart out. She immediately stopped and asked Clara Grant, "Clara, what’s wrong?"

Seth Quinn glanced at Poppy Vance, then silently put the brocade box back into his pocket.

As she started walking out, Clara Grant replied, "I need to go to the restroom."

Seth Quinn glanced at Poppy Vance again. Understanding his look, she immediately put down the microphone and followed her. "I need to go too. Let’s go together."

Clara Grant smiled at her. "Let’s go."

Poppy Vance linked arms with her, and the two women left the private room, talking and laughing.

Linden Jennings watched their backs disappear before turning to Seth Quinn, a teasing look on his face. "Seth, she’s just going to the restroom. It’s not like she’s going to run away. You don’t have to be so nervous that you make Poppy follow her, do you?"

But unlike before, Seth Quinn didn’t ignore his teasing. He just leaned back casually on the sofa and said calmly, "What if she does?"

’It was so hard to get her back!’

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Seth, isn’t that a bit much?" River Sterling, who had been about to switch to his own song, gave up on singing when he heard their conversation and turned around to gossip.

"Yeah, River. Look, Seth has Clara now, I have Poppy, and even a blockhead like Chase has someone he likes. You’re not getting any younger. After all these years of playing around, it’s about time you settled down," Linden Jennings added, following Seth Quinn’s lead.

Hearing this, Chase Childs couldn’t help but think of Holly Summers’s vividly expressive face and her figure running against the wind. A blush crept onto his somewhat rigid, handsome face, and he quickly lowered his head.

"Hmph!" Seeing the topic had turned to him, River Sterling curled his lip in disdain. "There are plenty of girls who were my ’love at first sight for an eternity.’ I’ve been deeply in love with every girl I’ve ever been with! Can’t be helped. Who can blame a guy for being handsome and passionate!"
