The woman coming down the stairs seemed to notice Mu Yan’s gaze, looked at her, and smiled.Mu Yan froze for a moment, then nodded politely towards her.

She reached out to tug on Jiang Jingheng’s sleeve and asked, "Who is that? I don’t think I’ve seen her before."

Jiang Jingheng followed her line of sight and looked over, saying indifferently, "Jiang Wenhui."

"Hm? Who is Jiang Wenhui?" Mu Yan became more curious.

Liu Xiangqing couldn’t stand Jiang Jingheng’s indifferent attitude and said, "Wenhui is the eldest daughter of Second Uncle and Second Aunt. She has been living abroad with her husband and is in charge of the Jiang Family’s overseas business."

I must say, Jiang Wenhui is much more pleasing compared to Jiang Yutai and Qiu Shufen, similar to the feeling Liu Xiangqing gives me.

"Is dinner ready?" Jiang Jingheng suddenly asked the servant next to him.

"Yes, Third Young Master, it’s ready. We can start dinner once the master comes downstairs."

While the master wasn’t down yet, Jiang Wenhui went back to her room to get the gifts and handed one to Mu Yan.

Mu Yan accepted the gift and thanked her again.

"See if you like it." Jiang Wenhao laughed.

Mu Yan glanced at her, looked down at the gift box in her hand, and opened it. Inside was a ruby brooch, surrounded by a circle of small diamonds, looking dazzling and brilliant.

"It’s a beautiful brooch, thank you, big sister."

"Glad you like it." Jiang Wenhui smiled.

Liu Xiangqing deliberately said, "This brooch seems to be a limited edition. Wenhui is so good to her sister-in-law."

Jiang Wenhui said helplessly, "The watch I chose for you was also picked with great care. You should know better than to compare yourself with your sister-in-law."

Liu Xiangqing stuck out her tongue, making everyone laugh at her playful act.

She looked at Yin Manqing beside her, "I say, Big Sister-in-law, Big Brother never bought you such expensive gifts, did he?"
