Leander’s P O V

“What kind of punishment are we talking about?” She asks squirming in front of me. I liked to push her buttons. That outburst earlier; though completely unacceptable, was totally hot. All I wanted was to throw her over the bed and spank her ass raw. But now was not the time. If I wanted to smooth things over I had to be on my best behavior. I want to hide her away from those men from her old pack but I know I will never hear the end of it or have her forgiveness. I already allowed Rena to meet them earlier in the afternoon. I was going to take Morena along but she had and go all feral on me. So, I just I left her there to calm down for a

bit. Now, those men were a few days away and I did not want Morena around them but I had no choice. I needed to score some points with her.

“That is for me to decide and for you to turn those little wheels in your head about, mutt.” I joke.

“Okay. I will be postponing that until after I meet the guys.” She says. And the fact that she was too excited to meet some other men was not sitting well with me.

“About that. There are some rules if you are going to meet the guys.” I say. “Rules? what kind of rules?” She asks, confused.

“No physical touching. If one of them lays his hands on you or vice versa, I will tear that person from limb to limb.” I reply.

“What? Have you lost your mind? You can not expect me not to hug alpha Luke. And especially not hug uncle Sion if he came with him. They were my father’s best friends. They are my family. If you are not going to let me greet them properly after being separated from them so abruptly then there is absolutely no need for me to meet any of them at all. I do not want to be the cause of one of them getting killed and a war raging between the ttwo packs. A war I know they will definetly lose.” She rambles, choking up.

“Okay. Okay. Calm down. You get to give them a hug but a brief one, Morena. You do not want to push too far on my boundaries.” I threat. There was no way I was going to win this argument anyway.

“Really. Thank you! Thank you so much.” She squeals as she jumps on me. She hugs me and I place my hand on the small of her back before letting it glide up to her neck. She pulls back from me probably realizing what she had done and I stop her from getting too far. I tilt her head up until those doe eyes are directly meeting mine. And I lean down, connecting my mouth to her. The kiss was rough. I wanted to mark her. To make sure that after I free her from the kiss that every single person who would lay eyes on her would know she belonged to me. My personal issues with her were something else. But I was territorial selfish bastard and I will not anyone lay hands on what was mine. My toy. I kiss her hard, letting my mouth explore every nook and corner of hers. She moans into me and I finally let go, fearing that someone might her her little delightful sounds.

“Now you go in there and behave yourself. Keep in mind that you will not be spending hours in there, Morena. They need to rest and I have important business to conduct with them. Once I tell you we have to leave then you get up and say good night to them. No questions asked. Am I clear?” I ask.

“Yes. Crystal clear.” She replies breathless. Only when she caught her breath up a bit that I let opened the door and led her to where our guests were staying.

I sit there forty five minutes later staring at Morena as she kept asking alpha Luke and Sion about every single person that she knew from her old pack. And they answered her each

time. Entertaining her childish demands. It was like I was seeing a whole new side of her. THe social side. The kind side. I was angry at how close she was with alpha Luke and Sion. It irritated me to see the love and admiration in her eyes for them. I was glad she listened to my instruction and only gave them a short hug upon seeing even though I could see her whole body buzz with excitement. The men also respected my presence and did not lay a finger on her. I knew I was being irrational. They were like father figures in her life but I could not help it.

She kept on talking about everything and nothing. She rambled for almost five minutes about the book she was reading and they only listened to her with small smiles plastered on their faces. I was thankful that she did not even attempt to mention what she had been going through or the fact that she is imprisoned in a room. I wouldn’t have let her talk about it anyway but it won’t matter if she would. Any negative reaction from alpha Luke or his company and I would have their heads on a platter. I am not one to mess with or to even question the basis of my decisions.

An hour later, I get up from my seat and tell Morena that we had to leave. She simply gets up and says goodbye to them man. I was glad she did what I asked her to and did not fight it off. I equally bid my farewell to the men, promising to see them for our scheduled meeting in the morning before grabbing Morena’s hand and heading towards my room.
