My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 502

Chapter 502

Third Person's POV

Patricia pinned her grandsons with a steely gaze and demanded in a grave tone, "Have you been keeping something from me?"

Blake knew the time for honesty had come. After a brief pause, he nodded and said, "Yes, Granny, there's something we withheld, but please try not to be angry."

"Tell me the truth!" Patricia snapped, her eyes blazing.

"Let me say it," Leo interjected, his voice steady despite the turmoil within.

Blake gave a slight nod. "Go ahead."

Leo turned to his mother and said, "Mom, didn't you suspect a connection between Sunny and Olivia?"

Abigail's face froze. She looked at her younger son, surprised that he'd uncovered her secret thoughts.

"You're spot on. Sunny is Olivia's daughter, and she's only just discovered her true parentage," Leo continued, watching as both his grandmother and mother paled.

His heart sank as he delivered the blow.

Patricia, though already aware of the truth, still bristled with indignation. Abigail, however, was utterly devastated.

Her eyes widened in disbelief, and her voice trembled. "How could this be? How is she Olivia's daughter?"

Leo replied with a bitter smile, "I always thought she was Olivia's niece. But Olivia has confirmed it herself—Sunny is indeed her daughter."

Abigail's expression turned complicated and rigid.

Patricia interjected, "So, what's your plan now?"

Leo's face mirrored his internal numbness. He bit his lip and whispered, "Granny, you already know the whole story, don't you?"

"Olivia, that venomous woman, drugged your father into a psychotic state, leading to the fatal car crash. How could I ever forgive her? I want her life in retribution!" Patricia's voice shook with fury.

Leo's face drained of color.

Abigail's composure shattered. She stammered, "Mom, are you saying Olivia killed Marc?"

Patricia's jaw tightened. "Who else? Richard told me himself. Olivia has confessed everything to the police—at least she had the decency to own up to her crimes!"

Abigail grew paler still, her balance faltering as if on the verge of fainting.

Why must fate be so cruel? Her younger son had finally found love, only to discover his girlfriend was the daughter of their enemy. The plot was too implausible for fiction.

"Leo, I want you to break up with Sunny immediately and sever all ties. As for Olivia, you must urge the police to sentence her to death. She deserves to pay with her life!"

Patricia declared, her resolve unshakable.

She would never allow her grandson to marry the daughter of their enemy—not even in death would she rest easy.

Leo's face turned ashen. His hands clenched and unclenched as turmoil raged within.

Blake interjected, "Granny, Mom, I know this is hard to swallow. While the evidence does suggest Olivia's complicity, she's not the killer. We need more time to investigate."

"Blake, how can you still defend that wicked woman? After what she did to your parents' marriage, she deserves to die. No one is to plead for her," Patricia declared firmly.

Blake knew his evidence gave him some leverage, but Patricia was too enraged to listen.

Abigail sorrowfully murmured, "Why does this have to happen? What can we do now?"

She worried for her younger son, heartbroken at the prospect of him losing his beloved.

"Granny, I'll break up with her as you wish. Please don't be angry; take care of your health," Leo said, his voice heavy with resignation.

Blake glanced at Leo, surprised by his apparent compliance.

Seeing Leo's agreement, Patricia's expression softened slightly. "Remember your promise. Think of your father's death and what her mother did."

"I will," Leo nodded, his heart aching with the lie.

Abigail looked at her younger son with aching sympathy. His easy agreement masked profound internal struggle.

"Also, ensure Olivia is swiftly sentenced, preferably to death. A woman with such a venomous heart is a menace alive. Don't give her another chance to harm others," Patricia demanded coldly.

"Granny, rest assured, if she's guilty, we'll see justice done," Blake agreed, his heart heavy.

After leaving the Royal Pack, the brothers sat together in the car.

Blake sighed at Leo's despondent expression. "Try to buy some time. You don't necessarily have to break up right away."

"Do you really think Granny, with her shrewdness, can be easily deceived?" Leo replied with a bitter smile.

"Talk to Sunny. Explain your position. If you both care enough to fight for it, your relationship can weather this storm," Blake offered.

Leo shook his head in defeat. "I'm not confident anymore. This situation is just too overwhelming."
