Romeo and Juliet play -4

(3rd person P.O.V)

After their honeymoon, Romeo and Juliet come back to their home and get back to their everyday routine life, but they couldn't meet each other as often as they prefer due to their busy schedule.

One day, they decided to meet at a cafe to discuss this problem.

"I can't take this anymore. We are married and in love with each other, and yet we have to stay away from each other. Why do we have to suffer because of their hatred? Can't we just run away somewhere far away from here?" Romeo asks while taking her hand in his.

"I am afraid not. Even if we managed to run away, where will we go? What if they found us? We can't keep hiding or keep running, can we?" Juliet asks him.

"We can if we plan it like we have planned our wedding," Romeo said to Juliet.

"What do you have in your mind?" Juliet asks him. But Before he can say anything to her, Tybalt comes out of nowhere and start punching him.

"How dare you seduce my sister and get married to her? And now you have the nerve to asks her to run away with you?" Tybalt said while punching Romeo in the face.

"Tybalt, what is wrong with you? Yes, Romeo and I got married in the church, so what? We love each other," Juliet said while trying to get Tybalt away from Romeo.

"Love you. This person can't love anyone. He only married you because you are a daughter of Capulet's family so that he can destroy your father's and his company reputation," Tybalt said to her.

"That's not true. I really love Juliet, with the depth of my heart," Romeo said while wiping blood from his face and getting up from the ground.

"Yeah, then prove it," Tybalt said while getting his face near Romeo's face so that they were eye to eye with each other.

"How so?" Romeo asks while looking at him.

"Oh, I don't know by spilling the secret of your father's company to us," Tybalt said with a shrug of his shoulder like it was a no big deal.

"Tybalt," Juliet shouted at him in a warning.

"Fine, this is a poison. If you drink it for Juliet, I will believe that you really love my sister," Tybalt said while taking a bottle from his pocket and keeping it on a table in front of him.

"Tybalt, that is enough," Juliet said to him.

"Romeo, don't listen to him. You don't have to prove it. I believe in your love," Juliet said to Romeo, hoping that he would listen to her and didn't do anything stupid. But instead, Romeo gives her the deaf ear and drinks the poison from the bottle.

A few seconds later, foam started to come from his mouth, and he passed out in front of them.

"Romeo," Juliet shouted in horror and rush to him, trying to wake him up. When he didn't wake up, she takes the bottle from his hand and drinks the remaining poison from the bottle before Tybalt can do anything to stop her. After few seconds Juliet also falls down unconscious beside Romeo.

Tybalt quickly takes the phone out of his pocket and calls the ambulance for them. After some time, an ambulance arrives and takes them to the hospital.

"Doctor, how are they doing?" Tybalt asks the doctor when the doctor comes out of their room.

"I have removed the poison from their body. They will gain their consciousness by tomorrow, but they will still feel the effect of poison for few days," the doctor informed him.

"Thank you, doctor," Tybalt said to him. The doctor nodded his head at him and walked out from there. After sitting in the waiting room and thinking about what happened today for some time, Tybalt concludes that he will help them.

So he takes Romeo and Juliet's phone out of his pocket and calls their friends and tells them about what happens in the cafe, and asks them to come and meet him in the hospital. Then he hangs up on them and walks inside Juliet's room.

"You guys really do love each other, don't you. I am sorry for doubting your love, and I promise you, everything will be alright when you get up from your sleep." Tybalt said while holding Juliets hand in his hand. He then kissed his head and walks out of her room, then go to Romeo's room.

"You are a lucky son of a bitch, you know. I have loved Juliet since our childhood, but you are the one she loves the most. She even drinks the poison when she thought she lose you. So I will help you, not because you truly love her, but because she loves you. So you better keep her happy or else, I am going to steal her away from you and then kill you for hurting her," after saying that, he walks out of his room.

After some time, their friends arrive in the hospital and go to check on Romeo and Juliet. When they come back to the waiting room, Tybalt decided to share his plan with them.

"You said you are going to help them. Do you have any plans in your mind? " Romeo's friend Mercutio asks Tybalt.

"Yes," Tybalt said and told him everything, and their friend nodded their heads in agreement. After that, Tybalt finds the doctor who attended Romeo and Juliet, explains everything to him, and asks him to help him within his plan.

At first, the doctor didn't agree to go with their plan, but after a lot of persuasion from Tybalt and Romeo & Juliet's friend, he finally decides to go with their plans. As per the plan, Tybalt calls Juliet's parents to the hospital, and Mercutio calls Romeo's parents.

"Tybalt, how did it happen? How is Juliet doing? Did the doctor said anything?" Juliet asks after rushing into the hospital.

"Mercutio, how is Romeo? Did the doctor said anything about his condition?" Romeo's mother asks after rushing inside the hospital.

"No, he is still checking on them," Tybalt informed them.

"By the way, what are you doing here, Tybalt?" Juliet's mom asks him.

"I have come to check one of my friends who was admitted to this hospital after a small accident when I saw Juliet's friend rushing Juliet to the hospital room," Tybalt answered them.

"How did all of this happened?" Romeo's mom asks them.

"Romeo and Juliet was in love with each other and was dating each other for a long time. They wanted to get married to each other, but knowing their family rivalry and hatred will never let them live together in peace, so they decided to suicide together in the place they like to meet often. At first, I thought that they were kidding, but when I reach there, they have already drunk poison and passed out in their favorite place," Mercutio informed them.

"I know I have no right to interfere in your family matters, but after what happens today, I can't stop myself from asking this to you guys. How long are you planning to continue this rivalry or hatred? Is this rivalry is more important to you than your only child's happiness? It is just a business rivalry, can't make peace and alliances with each other for your children's happiness? Just think at what height your company will touch and how happy your children will be when you make peace and alliance with each other," Tybalt asks them.

"You don't have any idea, sir, that this rivalry has taken a toll on them. Both physically but mentally. Not because of pressure but because of the fear of losing their love too," as Mercutio finished saying that, the doctor walks out of the room and walks towards them.

"Doctor, how are our children? Are they going to be okay?" Romeo and Juliet ask the doctor.

"I have removed the position from their body, but they are still in critical condition. It's like their organs had stopped working. It's like they don't have any reason to fight for their life. Today night is crucial for them. If they make it till tomorrow, I would be able to save them otherwise," the doctor said and shook his head with a sad face.

"Can we go and see them?" Juliet's mom asks the doctor.

"Yes, two people at one time," the doctor said and then walked away from there. Romeo's and Juliet's parents walked inside their children's room and promised them they would dissolve this rivalry and hatred and get them engaged with each other only if they come back to them. They stayed there talking to them for some time and walked out of their room.

Tybalt and Mercutio were shocked when the parents of the loved couple told them their decision and started dancing when they walk out of the hospital.

"I can't believe your plan worked man, it is a good thing that you are on our side," Mercutio said while smiling at Tybalt.

"I wasn't ant anybody side. I did what I think is right," Tybalt said walks out of the hospital.

The next day, Romeo and Juliet get shocked off their life when their parents come to visit them and told them about the alliance and their engagement. At first, they were confused but gets happy when their friends explain everything to them.

And as promised, their parents formed alliances with each other and got them engaged. After they take over their parent's company, they got married and lived happily ever after.
