As I emerged from the audition room, my heart was heavy with concern for Alisha, who had taken a fall during the performance. Miss. Raymond, the drama teacher, noticed my troubled expression and asked, "What is it, Robert?"
"Ma'am, I don't believe Alisha's fall was an accident. It seems someone did it intentionally to hurt her," I expressed my suspicions.
"Really? Why do you think that, and who do you suspect could be behind it?" Miss Raymond inquired, her eyes widening in surprise at my revelation.
"I think Riddhi and Siddhi might be involved. I saw them sneaking backstage after Alisha fell from the fake balcony," I replied, trying to explain my reasons.
"Are you absolutely sure? Accusing someone of such a serious act without concrete evidence could lead to a month's suspension from the school," she warned, clearly concerned about the implications.
"Yes, I am certain. I wouldn't have shared this information if I wasn't sure," I assured her, my conviction unwavering.
"Alright then, come with me," she said, leading me towards the principal's office. The weight of the situation intensified as I followed her, wondering how it would all unfold.
We entered the principal's office, where the stern figure of Miss Anderson, the principal, awaited us. She looked at us expectantly as Miss. Raymond proceeded to narrate the entire incident.
"Are you sure about this, Mr Dawson? Accusing students of such a serious offence requires substantial proof, and the consequences for falsely accusing someone can be severe," the principal asked, her gaze focused on me.
"Yes, sir, I am aware," I replied, nodding firmly, trying to demonstrate my certainty.
To ascertain the truth, the principal decided to review the video footage of the audition room, covering half an hour of the event. Miss Raymond and I stood silently behind her as she played the recording.

As the video played, we witnessed Riddhi and Siddhi sneak up to the stage and approach the fake balcony while the rest of us were engrossed in the play rehearsal. They proceeded to shake the fake balcony, causing Alisha to scream and fall from it. Thankfully, I was quick enough to catch her in time.

The principal's expression mirrored our shock. "I can't believe it. Children of this era can go to such lengths to bully someone," she said, shaking her head in disappointment. However, deep down, I knew this was more than just bullying; it had Karin's malevolent influence written all over it.
"Agreed," Miss. Raymond nodded, sharing my belief. The principal then called the receptionist to obtain Riddhi and Siddhi's phone numbers and immediately dialled them.
"Hello, Miss Collen, I want you and your sister in my office right now," the principal sternly ordered through the phone.
"But we're not at school right now, Miss. Anderson," Siddhi's voice could be heard on the other end. The principal swiftly typed something on her computer, and the surveillance footage of the school's parking lot appeared on the screen, showing Riddhi and Siddhi leaning over their car.
"I can see both of you in the parking lot. Miss Collen, come to my office with your sister immediately," the principal declared, her authority palpable.
After a short while, we heard a knock on the door, and the two girls walked into the office. I felt a surge of anger, but I tried my best to remain composed.
"Yes, ma'am," Riddhi and Siddhi spoke in unison, seemingly nervous about the situation.
"Miss Collen, Mr. Dawson witnessed you shaking the fake balcony while Miss. Ellwood was standing on it. Can you tell me why you did that?" Miss. Anderson inquired, her tone stern and unyielding.
Their faces turned pale, and they hesitated for a moment before confessing, "We didn't do it on purpose. Karin told us to do it."
My Lycian, the primal aspect within me, demanded immediate punishment for them, but I attempted to reason with him. "We will make them pay, but we must wait until we are out of the school. Taking action here will only lead to trouble," I explained, trying to calm him.
"I don't want to hear any explanations. I want their deaths right now," he growled menacingly, but I blocked his aggressive impulses and focused on maintaining control.
"You would blindly follow her orders, even if it meant jumping off a building?" the principal scolded, and they remained silent, fully aware of their wrongdoing.
"Call Karin and tell her to come to my office immediately," the principal ordered them, her resolve unwavering.
"She's not here, ma'am. She gave us the orders over the phone," Riddhi replied, trying to evade responsibility.
"Both of you are suspended from the school for three months for attempting to hurt or kill Miss. Ellwood," the principal declared firmly. Riddhi and Siddhi pleaded and apologized for their actions, but the principal remained resolute.
"Enough, I'm not taking back my decision. You're suspended for three months. Now, get out of my office," the principal commanded, leaving no room for negotiation. The girls left the office, visibly ashamed, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that their punishment wasn't enough. My desire for justice, shared by my Lycian, burned fiercely. We wanted to teach others the consequences of even contemplating hurting our mate.
"Thank you, Mr. Dawson, for informing us. I will ensure Miss. Campbell is held accountable for her actions. You may leave now," the principal said to me, acknowledging my cooperation.
I nodded in acknowledgment and walked out of the office. Getting into my car, I drove home at high speed. My mind consumed with thoughts of dealing with Karin once and for all. I was not satisfied with the principal decision of just suspending her from school for three months. What she did today was unforgivable, if I would be a second late to come to rescue her, she would have died due to fall. The desire for revenge, though potent, was mingled with the knowledge that we needed to tread carefully to protect Alisha and ourselves from the consequences of our actions.
