Chapter 32: Jean Broody vs. Bradley Jackson ~ When suppressed desires explode… Hanging out!

Bradley lost his train of thought for a moment. Those eyes of Jean’s did that to him sometimes. They made him melt inside. Being so close to him wasn’t helping matters at all. He thought Jean was really good-looking. With that silky jet black hair, striking dark blue eyes, and those cute dimples that looked so adorable on him, Bradley wasn’t surprised at all that the man had a bevy of ladies at his beck and call. Jean Broody was incredibly handsome. Bradley swallowed hard and made a conscious effort to get his mind back on the topic at hand.

“Forget about the regret part.” Bradley’s voice sounded strange even to his own ears. “Blow my mind.”

“So I went to this party a year ago around Christmas. It was the sickest party ever. I got pretty hammered. Probably did every silly thing anyone could do at a party…and then topped it off with the silliest bet ever…I’m told.” He went quiet.

“What was the bet?” Bradley held his breath as he waited for Jean to speak. He knew that whatever Jean was about to reveal would be outrageous.

“I had to get my cock pierced.” Jean couldn’t wipe the amusement off his face. He waited for Bradley’s reaction. He wasn’t disappointed.

“What the fuck?” Bradley looked incredulous. “Who bets with their cock?”

“Me, apparently.” Jean laughed. “I don’t even remember making that bet or what actually brought it on. I woke up in bed the next morning with a Prince Albert.”

“Huh?” Bradley looked confused.

“That’s the name of the piercing I have.” Jean was having so much fun. The look on Bradley’s face was just priceless. “I don’t remember getting it.”

“You must be shitting me.” Bradley gasped.

“I shit you not.” Jean grinned. “I had to take it easy for a while. My housekeeper had to take care of me.”

“And that was why she couldn’t go and spend Christmas with her people last year.” Bradley connected the dots.

“Hey, in my defense I did tell her to go. But she was too fascinated with my cock she pretended she was helping.” Jean drawled.

Bradley burst into laughter at Jean’s words. “I thought you said she’s fifty.”

“What has being fifty got to do with this? Have you seen my cock?” Jean pointed at his groin with a mock-serious look which made Bradley laugh even harder.

“You’re an idiot,” Bradley said with conviction. “And very irresponsible I must say.”

“I know but I haven’t regretted this.” Jean closed his eyes. “Damn, it’s exciting.”

Bradley shook his head. “I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that you actually got drunk and made a bet to pierce your cock. And you call yourself a doctor? In fact the word irresponsible is too mild. I’d probably revoke your license or something if I were the Secretary of Health.”

“Suck my dick, asshole.” Jean chuckled.

“Don’t tempt me,” Bradley muttered cheekily.

A peal of laughter greeted Bradley’s words. “You’d like that wouldn’t you?” Jean opened his eyes and look at Bradley.

Bradley went quiet for a moment. “You know I would.” At his quiet response, Jean turned to lie on his side too so that he and Bradley faced each other. “Was it painful? The piercing I mean.”

“Was uncomfortable for about two weeks. By the sixth week, I was fully healed.” Jean said. “Why do you ask? Want one?”

“Hell, no.” Bradley laughed.

“Hmm so emphatic.” Jean drawled. “But why do I have the feeling you like mine?”

Bradley laughed. “Well, I do. It looks good actually. But no one’s going to be allowed near my dick with a needle. Do I look crazy to you?”

Jean stared at Bradley. No, the last thing the soldier looked like was crazy. To Jean, he looked mouthwateringly fine. That was a face he could get used to seeing in his bed every night, he thought to his shock. For a brief moment, Jean felt a flash of panic. Where had that thought come from, he snapped at himself silently as he shot out of the bed.

“Hey, wait.” Bradley’s hand shot up to pull Jean back down. “What did I do to make you angry in the playroom this afternoon?” He asked softly and watched Jean’s face darkened with remembered annoyance. “Tell me.”

“You were thinking about…Wendell.” Jean said simply.

It was Bradley’s turn to frown but his was in confusion, not anger. “What made you think I was thinking about Wendell?”

“I saw your face, man,” Jean muttered. “And you mentioned his name.”

“I did?” Bradley looked surprised. He tried to remember but… “What did I say about him?”

“I don’t remember.”

“Jean…”

“I’m serious, I don’t.” Jean insisted. “I don’t think you said anything. Or I didn’t wait to listen.”

“Fuck.” Bradley groaned as he shifted to lie on his back. “I remember. And you’re right. I didn’t say anything. But that was because of how you reacted when I was speaking.”

“You were going to say something about him.” Jean rasped. “Whatever it was, I didn’t want to know.”

“You have a problem with me talking about Wendell?” Bradley looked genuinely confused.

“Now, when you put it like that, you make me sound like a jerk.” Jean sat up. “Let’s just say I didn’t like it when you mentioned him at that time. For you to have been obviously thinking about him at that moment, was bad enough. But they are your thoughts so I can’t complain.” Jean was getting worked up. “But actually mentioning your ex when we’d just…”

“I’m sorry,” Bradley said quietly, completely understanding Jean. “It won’t happen again.” He watched as Jean took a deep breath and nodded. “Cool?’ Bradley sat up too.

“Yeah. I’m cool.” Jean got off the bed.

“Good. But does he qualify to be called my ex?” Bradley looked up at Jean. “I mean…the guy.”

“You can mention his name, Brad.” Jean chuckled as he bent down to pick up the tray. “And no, the son-of-a-bitch doesn’t qualify to be called your ex. And I’m sorry I called him that. But I hope you get where I’m coming from.”

“Perfectly.” Bradley nodded.

“Thanks. Taking the tray downstairs.” Jean turned to leave the loft. “Thanks for supper, I enjoyed it.”

“Anytime,” Bradley grunted, getting off the bed too.

“You don’t have to go,” Jean said over his shoulder when he noticed that Bradley had gotten off the bed. “I’ll bring us drinks. What would you prefer? Beer or something stronger?”

“Beer’s fine.”

“Be right back.” Jean went out.

Bradley left the loft anyway and went to lie on the plush rug in the seating area. He switched on the TV and flipped through the channels till he got to the sports channel where a repeat telecast of a match between Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears was showing. He’d planned on watching the live match that afternoon but thanks to that unexpected visit from Dean, he’d missed it. By the time Jean got back, Bradley was so engrossed in the match he was actually kneeling on the rug.

“Dude, it’s a repeat telecast.” Jean chuckled. “You already know the scores.”

“Yeah, but I’m now watching what went down,” Bradley responded without sparing Jean a glance.

Jean placed a small ice chest beside Bradley and opened it to take out two bottles of beer. “Here.” He gave one to Bradley and opened the other. “I’m off to take a shower.” He turned to go whilst taking a swing from the bottle. “There’s more in the chest.” He called out but got no response from Bradley who was cursing loudly.
